I want to start off my message for today with my
comments on some stories in the news. First of all, I have to
disagree with Sarah Palin's opinion on Alaska Airlines' decision to
stop including prayer cards with their meal trays. Many
passengers have told the airline that they didn't want them.
Though I agree that it's too bad they had to stop them because their
tradition of handing out these cards has gone on for thirty
years. However we believe that people should be able to choose
rather they want to read religious material or not, especially if
they're paying for something expensive like an airline ticket. As
I say Palin's comments are in error. Most people are not "offended" by
these prayer cards, it's just their right to choose rather they want to
get them or not. Anybody heard of freedom of religion?
Congratulations to Princess Marie and Prince Joachim
of Denmark who are now the proud parents of a baby girl! She is
the tenth in line for the throne. They already have a two year
old son so I'm sure they're quite familiar with the work they've got
cut out for them! We hope they've got a good nanny!
It's surprising that I should agree with a right
wing conservative watchdog group called The Culture And Media
Institute, however they're stating they believe actress/singer Miley
Cyrus' behavior is now disgusting, and saying she is the "epitome of
the anti role model for little girls." Back in 2,009 after Miley
agreed with Perez Hilton's deliberate negative actions concerning
Carrie Prejean and the Miss America pageant, God declared Miley Cyrus
is a creature of Darkness. Notice how since then her career seems
to have gone down the tubes? That's what happens when you're
working with the dark side. We wish she would change her ways and
come back to the Light. Unfortunately I don't have much hope of
that.
