An Open Letter From Speaker Gerald Polley
God's Candidate For The Presidency Of The United States In 2,012
To The World
12-07-02 AJ
Got this message from Alice.
"Caylee a saint? LOL! Gerald, leave The Pope alone. Stop writing
to him. You are just asking for trouble."
I was going to simply let it pass but Pope John Paul II asked to make a reply. Here's the link.
Alice says the International Space Station is owned by all the
countries taking part in it, including The Russians and I wouldn't be
able to sell it if I was president. Well, I'm going to have to get the
legal advice from White House lawyers on that, but I believe the major
investor in this thing is The United States. It was built while Russia
was destitute, and couldn't even feed its people. This is something
that we'll have to see, but if we don't own it, I think we'll simply
abandon it, not fund it any more, let The Russians take care of it, and
see how long before it falls apart. But I'm definitely not
spending millions of dollars to send Americans up there when we've got
hungry children and seniors that need medical care. I've got better
ways of spending fifty million dollars. If different American
scientists want to raise the funds from private donations and have The
Russians take them up there, I would have no objections, whatsoever.
But the taxpayers aren't going to pay for it any more. We can't afford
it. We'll see which course we will take. There might be a
miracle! The Russians might say "Hey! This thing can't do
without American support. O.k., we'll take your people up for
nothing. You did enough favors for us."
And on another small matter, The Russians sent two other cosmonauts
into space who came back dead before they had a success. I salute
the first guy to make it back alive as one of the bravest and most
patriotic men I've ever known!
Oh, you've
got me! That was Skylab that fell on Australia? Well, The
Russians came down too. And your uncle has every right to be
proud of what was accomplished by NASA. But that's not saying
that millions of dollars were not wasted in the corruption that will
not be wasted any more. As I say, we simply can't afford
it. When we have to choose between space science and caring for
those that need to be cared for, space science loses unless somebody
else wants to pay for it.
Alice, every subject
is important. We're not going to agree on everything, that's
human nature. But I have to cover the priorities. The space
station accomplished very little. About the only thing of value
that we learned from it was that people should not stay in
weightlessness for long periods of time because it's very detrimental
to their health. All the real science, anything that really
mattered, was carried out on the space shuttles where others couldn't
spy on it. That's where the shuttle program paid for
itself. For every project that was talked about there was at
least one and sometimes two, that the astronauts were conducting that
were never publicized and have been of tremendous importance to the
people of The United States. I keep telling you, we know about
NASA! We know what was really done, and, where it was done.
The space station is an expensive status symbol that simply isn't worth
what's being put into it. In a very few years we'll probably
build something far better. We'll have technology that will make
the shuttles look like rowboats compared to an ocean liner.
Good old Elgard to the rescue! Here's what he says.
"I respectfully disagree with Alice regarding Alpha Centauri’s
distance. Proxima or Alpha Centauri C, the third star in that system,
is approximately 4.24 light-years from the Sun, making it the closest
star of the Alpha Trinity nearest to the Midgardian sun. Alpha Centauri
AB, on the other hand, the other two stars of the Alpha Trinity, are
approximately 0.2 light years from Proxima or Alpha Centauri C, which
is 400 times the size of Neptune’s orbit."
Well, Alpha Centaura's four light years away, huh? That's 48
months. At 10 times the speed of light that's about five
months. At three times the speed of light, 16 months. Still
not all that bad! I think with a well built ship, crew and
passengers would be comfortable.
Someone
asked "You speak of warships accompanying this colony ship.
Why? What would you take for weapons?" The why is
simple. You never know what you're going to run into. We
don't think it's a high probability but there's always a possibility
you might run into some unfriendlies that don't want other people in
the neighborhood. People should always be prepared to defend
themselves. As for what weapons, whatever's available, the most
powerful we can construct!
Haven't heard
directly from old noah, but got a tip off from somebody else that he
plans to post some fraudulent information at Wikiapedia designed to
degrade and insult us. Here's a link to what we sent them.
We had an awful time finding an email! They should really put it
right up front on the contact page. "Got a problem with our site,
incorrect information, somebody violating your rights?" It should be
the first thing people see when they click on Contact Us. We really
might have to work on some legislation about these sites. They
can't call themselves an encyclopedia and just allow people to put up
anything. They have to verify that something is factual, and not
allow people to be attacked by total lunatics.
