In our last issue we had a conversation with John concerning the Book Of Revelation. This issue we decided to continue in this line, and have a talk with Peter.  We will as Peter first to describe what his duties are in Heaven, rather the legends told of him are true or not.

1.  What do you say on these things, Peter?

A.  As you know, Demetrius, from the time I journeyed to be with the Lord it had been my duty to be The Keeper Of The Gate.  I greet those, or, my servants greet those who approach the Gates Of Heaven and ask admittance therein.  I am the first to make any challenge to individuals, and deny them entry if they have transgressed the Commandments The Lord gave them.  Many come seeking entry therein, but many are denied because they have made themselves unworthy to be in the presence of God.
Most go away when I tell them that they may not enter in, for they know they are sinners.  Some DEMAND to stand in Judgment and go before the Lord.  Most that do wish afterwards they had not.  The Lord warned them it would be better for them to accept my pronouncement, than to stand before Him in Judgment, but some are unwise, and do so anyway.

2.  Tell me, Peter, it is a question I am often asked.  I, of course know the answer, but I think it would be good for men to hear it from you.  Is a person denied entry into Heaven who has not accepted Jesus as his personal Savior?

A.  Of course not, my dear friend!  This is a fable created by man.  The Lord taught clearly again and again, that He had not come for the righteous, but for the unrighteous.  That He was The Great Physician for those who needed saving.
It is true, that those who call upon The Gift that He has given, and repent their evil may enter into His Kingdom, but those who are already righteous may enter in, as well.  God would not punish a righteous man simply because he did not call upon the Name of His Beloved Son.  Even those who have denied Him are welcome as long as they did not do evil.
To say that God would forsake a righteous man merely because he has not followed a certain Tradition blasphemies God and denies His Glory!  No man that is good fears God.

3.  We have been reporting to people your Lord's order that they leave the places called California and Hawaii and if they do not they will be forbidden to enter into His Kingdom.  What do you feel on this matter?

A.  It troubles me greatly, my good friend.  It tears at my heart to turn away the little ones because their parents will not heed The Lord's command.  But He is the Ruler Of Heaven and I obey His wishes and turn those away that He has ordered me to turn away, as I welcome those He orders me to welcome.
But I pray daily, as do ALL in Heaven, that those who have closed their hearts to their Lord will change their minds and obey His wishes, and return to His Glory.  Then, perhaps His anger will soften, and those who have been turned away may be granted entry as those They love follow The Lord's Command and do His bidding.  This is my prayer every hour, night and day.
