As always John Kurluk's letters bring interesting questions. This
one, especially. There is a great misconception in christianity that
a person can do evil all their life, repent at the last moment, and suffer
no consequences for their misdeeds. That there is no point of no
return, no Ultimate Sin that God will not forgive.
Unfortunately this misguided philosophy has sent many to the Second
Death. There are evils that cannot be constantly forgiven.
There are crimes that simply cannot be ignored, no just God could do so.
But this does NOT negate Salvation for those who CAN be saved. If
a person, in their lifetime, truly does repent their evil, and ask the
help of whatever divine force they believe in to make amends for what they
have done, then the energies are set in motion to protect them from the
harm they have caused others. It does not mean that they will not
still FEEL some of their pain and anguish, but it means that they will
survive them and have the opportunity to make amends to those they have
injured.
No person ever escapes their responsibilities. When a person
truly repents their evils they know full well, in their own hearts they
must make amends to those they have injured, and will strive for centuries
at times, to undo the evil they have done. And Those Lords They worship
will do all in Their power to nurture, protect them, and help them return
to The Light. This is the true purpose of Salvation. No one
is ever FORCED to make amends...no one HAS to be. But they do so
because they have come to understand that they must love others more than
themselves and in doing so, will grow beyond whatever they thought they
could be.
As I have said in previous articles, those who made mistakes in the
past often become the best protectors of the innocent. For they have
felt the pains of Hell and will do all in their Power to keep any other
Soul from suffering as They have suffered.
These are the TRUTHS that Spirit gives in response to John Kurluk's
questions. We hope he always continues to ask such interesting questions
and understands the answer that is given.
