The Air Force's latest explanation of the Roswell incident is so ludicrous
as to make you wonder who was stupid enough to make it up.
The Roswell Incident happened in 1947, and The Air Force is trying to claim
that the alien bodies that people saw were actually parachute test dummies
that they didn't begin using until 1954!
They go on to claim that the bodies people saw being autopsied were actually
crew members of a crashed plane. The only thing is, that plane didn't
crash until 1956, 9 years after Roswell!
They go on to explain that one of the aliens supposedly being treated in
the hospital was actually Capt. Dan D. Pulgham, who was not injured in a
balloon accident until 1959; 12 years after Roswell!
Even we are not sure what happened at Roswell. But it is very obvious
that none of these incidents were responsible for what people saw there.
Undoubtedly some UFO sightings CAN be explained away by clandestent government
activity; secret test aircraft, and such. But this would account for
only a small percentage of UFO sightings.
We cannot understand how the military minds of this country could consider
that people are so stupid that they can't figure out how ignorant the so-called
explanation is! Give us a break, people! We've got brains, we
can figure out that things hadn't even happened yet weren't responsible for
something in 1947. We're just a little bit more intelligent than that!
SEPTEMBER 10, 1997
Burgess Meredith was a great actor! His portrayal of the rock hard
manager in ROCKY that really had a soft heart helped make the movie more
believable. But I'm sure anyone who ever watched the old BATMAN series
on t.v. will remember him best as The Penguin.
In that series you tended to love the villains just as much as the heroes.
Burgess has left a legacy for many future generations of children who will
be just as thrilled by his caricatures as the children of my generation were,
and perhaps he might even entertain a few more Souls that are young at heart
where he's going!
