HOW THE SABBATH IS CELEBRATED
IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD
IT'S JANUARY 6th! I have to mention that because it was part
of my instructions. Jesus came to me at work this afternoon and seemed rather
excited. He said "Demetrius, I desire that in your next publication you put
a description of how The Sabbath is celebrated in The Kingdom Of God. And
be SURE you tell people that it was TODAY you received the instructions to
do so."
I answered, "If it is your wish, I will most certainly do so. I think it
would be of interest to our readers!"
Though my words describing this great pageant will fall short of expressing
its beauty, I will do my best.
It begins on Friday afternoon, when a herald mounts the Tower Of Announcement
on the Promenade of The Holy Of Holies. Through a True Believer's eyes in
the material world he watches the sunset in Jerusalem. When the last sliver
of the sun disappears he raises a ram's horn to his lips and blows a long,
clear note. He then lowers the ram's horn and cries, "It is The Sabbath!
It is The Sabbath! It is The Sabbath!"
He then raises the ram's horn and sounds again. He then cries, "It is The
Sabbath, the Day that God has appointed, that The True Believers should sing
His Praises and receive His Glory. It is The Sabbath!"
Again he brings the ram's horn to his lips and sounds clearly, then he cries,
"It is The Sabbath! Come forth! Sing The Praises Of God and receive His Glory!
It is The Sabbath!"
With this the herald descends the Tower. Throughout The Kingdom Of God heralds
appear in the street sounding their rams' horns and repeating the call to
come forth.
After they have cried for the third time, the people begin to leave their
dwellings dressed in the traditional garb of their country, and, their era.
The first song They always sing is "Glory, Glory To God On High," as They make Their way to Their individual Temples. After this They may sing
different songs.
When They arrive at Their individual Temples Their Leader there says, "Let
Those who have been chosen to go and represent us at The Holy Of Holies go
forth!"
A man and a woman depart from each group and arrive at The Grand Promenade
taking Their station. All enter Their Temples and in perfect unison repeat
The Lord's Prayer, they sing a hymn called "Glory Is The Salvation Of
God."
When They are done, John The Baptist mounts The Tower Of Announcement and
cries out, "Behold, The Lamb Of God whose laces I am unfit to undo."
With this Christ appears in The Tower Of Sermons and begins to speak. He
is heard throughout The Kingdom Of God.
Christ speaks for perhaps half an hour, then leaves The Tower Of Sermons.
More hymns are sung and then The Apostles mount Their Towers and speak to
Their legions. They are heard only by Those They have dominion over.
When They are done speaking, more hymns are sung. then the local ministers,
Rabbis, priests, whatever,deliver Their messages.
When They are done more hymns are sung. Then some of the people from each
congregation speak. Then, more hymns are sung.
By now it is true midnight, and Christ arrives before The Holy Of Holies.
"Who is it," He asks, "that shall pass with me through The Holy Of Holies
and receive The Glory Of God?"
A woman comes forward, announces her name, and where she is from. Jesus
takes her hand and says to those present, "Come! Follow me through The Holy
Of Holies, and receive The Glory Of God!"
All present pass through The Holy Of Holies and are bathed in Its pure psychokenitic
energy.
When They come out more hymns are sung. Christ again mounts the Tower Of
Sermons and cries out,
"The Joy of Your Hearts has been felt by The Father, and He has refreshed
you with His Glory. The Father has said six days shall you labor, but the
seventh day shall you keep holy and on that day shall you labor not.
Go forth now. Eat, drink and be merry. Sing The Praises Of God and dance
joyously. For God loves it when His people are joyous. Let none say that
it is not right for you to be joyous, for this is Your Father's greatest
wish. Go and do that that He wishes, that on the morrow you may return to
His Labors refreshed, for you have been one with His Glory."
And so the people depart to the traditional Sabbath meal, continuing to
sing the Praises of God.
At sunset on Saturday the herald again mounts the steps of The Tower Of
Announcement, and sounds the ram's horm. He cries only once,
"The Sabbath is done!"
And so ends The Celebration Of The Sabbath in The Kingdom Of God.
