As we surf the Net and work with other sources we constantly come across teachings such as The Great White Brotherhood, The Ascended Masters, and other supposed groups that, according to the teachers of those philosophies are controlling mankind's destiny.  Do such groups actually exist?
The answer is no.  When a teacher dies and enters The Spirit Realm those who followed Him or Her during Their lifetime gather around Them if They were actually a good Teacher, and They continue to help those They have taught.  But each of them attaches Themselves to one of the already existing Houses in The Spirit Realm, pledges Their allegiance to that House, and pledges Their Followers' support of that House's Principles.
The individual Teachers may become members of local Councils, to represent the people that still follow Them, but most do not.  They are usually far too busy.  Most of the time one of Their lesser followers takes on the responsibility of being a member of such a Council, to leave The Teacher free to do far more important work.
There was always a loose Confederation between The Bearers Of Light.  They always helped each other fight The Darkness whenever They could.  Only in very recent times has The Grand Alliance formed, to make a uniformed effort against the extra-terrestrial interference that at the present moment so endangers the living.
Those who were wise, who taught mankind, continue to serve them, often doing great Works.  But most are not The Rulers Of The Spirit Realm.  They are merely Workers For The Light.  These Teachings Of Great White Brotherhoods, and Ascended Masters aren't really true, and create a great deal of confusion.
The Great Teachers in The Spirit World aren't grouped together to force one particular religious practice on the world.  They are working together to let each people find their own Way within their own beliefs.  Some of them, unfortunately, have to take action against those who have turned toward The Darkness and betrayed The Light.  But none try to force others to follow Their doctrines.  This is simply not the Way Of The Light, and it will never be.
