A SPIRITIST SPEAKS ABOUT
ASTROLOGY
I often hear people laughing at astrology. One of the comments
they often make is, "How can the planet Mars or Pluto effect someone on
Earth? They're so far away their gravitational influence would not even
be measurable. What POSSIBLE effect could they have?"
The answer is, virtually none. The planets themselves, are not the source
of the Power that gives an individual born under the sign the characteristics
they share in common with others born under that sign.
What DOES cause the effect, is the combined powers of the entire universe.
The planets are merely the guideposts, the markers of these areas in the
heavens when these effects occur.
Ancient observers noticed these effects and wrote them down, and because
they could see the planets, gave them the credit for causing the effects
they were observing. They did not understand that the planets, themselves,
were insignificant, that they were only pointing the way.
Advanced Spirits often use the knowledge of astrology. They choose the
parents they have, and, when They'll be born so that they will have the
particular characteristics They want to carry out the particular mission
in the lifetime They are embarking on.
Astrology works! It can be extremely beneficial, but it is not a railroad
track, locked down and final. It'll show us when we can have good days and
bad days, but we have free will, we can mess up the good days, and, we can
make the bad days better.
The stars are only marker bouys warning us of the dangers in the river
of life. The skillful helmsman can use those bouys to steer away from danger.
Astrology is a great knowledge, but it should be used wisely.
