MARKER
(Continued)

As they headed off The Ax Man asked,
"One question. What did we first do?""
"The stuff in that warehouse is going to be shipped north," The Ancient One answered. "It will be used by those addicted to it, and their auras will forever be marked with a radiance that we will easily detect. It will make it far easier to target those in high places."
"Excellent!" The Ax Man cried, "Excellent! I love the way you do things!"
They landed back at the research facility. The Ancient One disassembled the device, put it back in the boxes. "Dispose of these componants," he ordered. "Don't even try to salvage any of the usable parts, melt them down!"
The Professor nodded.
"A little bonus," The Ancient One continued, putting the bags of money on the table. "See that this is distributed to the most needy in the area."
"As my Lord commands!" the Professor answered.
The Ancient One was about to leave when a Spirit suddenly took form on the rooftop, dressed in the ancient armor of an Azcotin warrior. He came over before The Ancient One, knelt, and spoke.
"Tunka Lin! Your people have need of your services! There is difficulty we are having trouble dealing with - a Dark One from the north has come down and is causing us problems."
"Lead us to him!" The Ancient One ordered.
As the Spirit rose skyward and The Ancient One and his companion followed, those on the roof quickly dispersed, carrying out their assignments with exact precision.
The Professor watched te retreating lighs and smiled.
"Do thy glory, my lord!" he remarked, "Do thy glory!"
