Well, except for the news of the tragedies still going on in The Spirit
Realm things have gotten a little bit better here! But first the bad
news.
We inquired at a computer technician's store about someone coming to
our apartment and installing the web cam we bought last month. We
anxiously
awaited the big day when he was to arrive. Two days before the
set
appointment he called to confirm the time and ask a bit more details
about
our computer.
Well, to make a long story short, we found out our computer didn't have
enough megabytes to hold the programming for the web cam. So we had to
cancel the appointment and put the cam in storage until we get another
machine that will handle it. Big time disappointment for both of us,
since it'll be a
while before we can buy an updated model.
However, something fantastic happened!!!! On our way downtown last
Wednesday, we found a computer store! It wasn't open but they had a
sign in the window next door saying to visit the second floor for new
computers. On our way back home we did. And guess what happened? We
bought a brand new scanner!! After a bit of trial and error we
installed it and it's working perfectly. It has a preview/editing
feature we LOVE and we've been doing what we want to with
it...putting pictures and graphics on our web site! It
was the exact thing we were looking for, they only had one left, and I
went
right to it. The most amazing thing is it's so easy to use! It only
took
us a couple of days to have the basic picture operation down pat. Thank
you IBM! And most important of all The Lords who certainly must've
guided
us to this place, somehow.
Check out The Main Page and see our very own logo we just put on. Also Additions Nine if you want to see
what your editor looks like. And most important of all... Our Back Issues List where
now you'll be able to see all the cover pictures that were in each
issue and more as time goes on. V1N8 is the best!
Other than that nothing else new. Been getting wonderful letters about
our old paper issues no longer being published. We thank you for them
all, and hope everyone will keep in touch. Until next month, be careful
and know The truth IS out there!
P.S. After I wrote this article we learned that the so-called literary
agent we sent one of Gerald's manuscripts to for consideration is, in
reality,
just running a referral service to people who rewrite books, and gets
paid
for the customers she gets these services! Fortunately the manuscript
was
returned to us.
