Staying with our friend Jesse is enjoyable, and he keeps coming up with the
most interesting questions, and we never have time to write them all down.
But I wanted to especially get the one he brought up the other day.
He asked if; "When we astral project can we see in the dark?"
Well, actually yes, and, no! When you're in your astral form you do not perceive
in the light spectrum, you perceive the radiance given off by ectoplasmic
energy, which is produced by all living things.
As long as there are living things in an area to charge the organic things
around them, you perceive as readily as you do in the physical form. But
where there are no living things you perceive only darkness.
In parts of the world that are virtually lifeless, you cannot see in the
astral form. Actually, in the astral form you can see better at night than
you can during the day. Solar radiation tends to break up psychokenetic energy.
But you can perceive well enough even in the daytime to navigate.
The only odd thing is that in the astral state everything appears to be silver
or gold, depending on the level of psychokenetic energy it is producing.
Lower level life forms, .plants, produce the silver color. Higher forms,
animals, produce the golden color. It can be quite beautiful once someone
gets used to perceiving in this way. After a while the mind begins to add
other colors though they're not there, to give what it is used to perceiving.
Yes, we can see in the dark, much to the dismay of those that think they
can hide in it...very MUCH to their dismay!
