Well, actually nothing new. I became a year older (48) on July 14th. Gerald is still looking for a job. It has become apparent that there's not going to be anything available here in Valley City soon, so he has started going to Fargo with our friend Jesse (who we're living with) three times a week. He plans on us living here and getting rides to work for at least three months. Then we'll get our own apartment in Fargo near where the job is, before winter. That way we'll get some of our bills caught up.
With this decision made, we've sat up our computer, printer and scanner in Jesse's livingroom so we can work on Voices from there and then put it online from Jesse's computer which has internet access. We discovered the hard way Windows 98 and 95 are not compatible as far as storing files goes. So we type up everything on our PC then zap it to the site via disc on the other one. That way we'll have a record of the material to use any time we want without storing in a unique format.
Not only are strange and terrible things happening in The Spirit Realm, but they are here on Earth with the weather! And this time we can't blame El Nino! This month there was a tornado 25 miles south of Valley City. Fortunately it went east, and here it only got very dark and thundered a few times. There was a flash flood watch out for the south western part of our county after it was over.
As if it wasn't bad enough we got hit by hurricane force winds weeks before that did tremendous damage in the Fargo area! Gerald will never forget sitting on the enclosed porch watching the storm and seeing the huge tree limb snap off the tree in the front of the house, hover in the air for a moment, then come crashing down. A few minutes later the leaves moved and a squirrel rushed from the limb and scurried up another tree next to the house! He was o.k!
I safely recovered from a summer cold and ear infection, after a week of taking antibiodicts and using ear drops in my left ear which has acted up all my life from time to time. Something good has to be coming, or The Dark Ones wouldn't be hitting us with all they've got! I just hope it happens soon!
We won't let The Dark Ones win!

We continue to struggle here, but The Dark Forces are working overtime! Our former landlord in Maine has not sent us our security deposit. I have not been able to find any work. We have sold some of our CDs and made about $45.00. That is all the income we have had for over six weeks. Our bank account is really getting low. I have catalogued our library and am preparing to sell as many of the books out of that as we can, in the hopes of raising a little more. But our situation is definitely desperate.
Jesus sent us here. Peter has done all in his power to keep us here. He has spoken directly to three members of this community asking them to help us, but they have refused to hear him. The Power is here, but we can't use it because we are tied down by our financial responsibilities. Any help, any assistance, would be gratefully appreciated.
