DATELINE

In a previous article some time ago, we mentioned Hashon Standard Time, which eventually we will use on all our documents. The idea with Hashon Standard Time is that it is the exact same time all over the world, and each individual area adjusts their work cycles according to the night and day periods. There are no seperate time zones. An interesting question arose, that I'm surprised took so long to be asked. Under Hashon Standard Time where will our dateline be? Where will our day officially begin and end? The answer is latitude 35 degrees 13' E. That is where the day will officially begin and end. In time on our maps when we begin to produce our own, this will be 0 latitude, and the world will not be divided in 360 degrees, but in 100. So the paralell on the opposite side of the world will be the 50th. Why, people are going to ask, is this latitude so important to us? Because we believe that on this latitude somewhere around 500,000 years ago, at 31 degrees 47' N our Ancestors first set foot on Earth. We will begin our day and measure all distances on Earth from that point, in honor of that moment. In honor of that time when the doors of a scout ship opened, its steps extended, and one of the natives of Haven walked down and first touched the soil of Earth. We're not going to say exactly what is at this latitude and longtitude, we're going to let people figure it out by themselves. But when they do we are sure they will come to realize why this particular spot on Earth is so important to the practitioners of the Judean-Christian faiths. It is where it all began, where the foundation of their faiths came from. It is the rock of their Souls. And in time it will be just as important for our people to make pilgrimages there on their most important day, to honor their Ancestors, to, for a moment, be in the place where They once were, to stand on the ground where They once stood, to feel the energy that They were drawn to. This spot on Earth, this sacred bit of ground, will always, as long as it exists, be precious to many, many Souls, for many, many reasons.
