We had the most wonderful time in The Spirit World last night!
There was a history making occasion. For the first time in
history The Angelic Choir came to the capitol of The Spiritist
Republic and sang for its leaders and, for the leaders of the
other non-Christian kingdoms. I'm afraid nothing would've kept me
from taking part in this occasion! Our religious celebrations
usually start at sunrise Sunday, in Jerusalem, but I asked them
to be delayed a couple of hours so I could be well to sleep in my
time zone, and join John Lennon and The Choir in the singing.
Linda had to take part, too.
I can't describe to you what it was like up on the stage singing
three Spiritist hymns with John, "Memorial", "Drummer",
and "The Tree", to be part of such an occasion gave an
incredible warmth even in these troubled times. It was hard for
me to step aside and let Linda have her turn, as she sang "Spirits
Of Our Loved Ones," "Whispering Hope," and "Let
The Lower Lights Be Burning". Incredibly John wrote a new
song for the occasion. "We Will Stand Together". It is
below. But this was not the only surprise.
As we were finishing up John happened to mention "Oh, I came
up with something for your friend in Memphis as a consolation....a
song just for him to use. A free gift."
I said "Wow! Come on! Sing it!" John said "No no!
It's not really religious."
I told the crowd what was going on, and they immediately started
screaming "We wanna hear it! We wanna hear it!" and
John finally conceeded. And in a very short time had everybody
rocking back and forth singing his new tune.
It just absolutely amazes me! When something hits him in a few
minutes he's jotted it down. It takes me weeks to put a song
together. He does it in a few minutes! And they're usually very
good! What am I saying usually!? They're always good! Such talent
just inspires me.
The one good point of this crisis is that it is driving the parts
of The Spirit Realm closer together. Age old differences are
being forgotten as we're forced to throw everything we have into
this horrendous struggle. Maybe it's the only really good thing
out of this mess! I am just being overwhelmed with all the work
They want me to do.
Fortunately the boss at work is insisting I take a day off each
week! It's the only way we're getting things done. But we miss
the extra money. Well, that's all for now. Thought our regulars
would enjoy this. As long as John keeps em comin' we'll keep
sharing 'em, and maybe we'll get that CD going, somehow.
