Brrrr!
Not much to report from The Afterlife today. Things are pretty quiet. Like everybody in the material world, They're waiting in great anticipation for The Supreme Court decision that will hopefully put an end to this month long nightmare.
We're definitely not getting a mild winter in Fargo this year! It's -20 this morning, with the wind chill make that -40! It's going to be a cold wait at the bus stop. And it's going to be real balmy this afternoon...the predicted high is -5!
WEGR in Memphis, TN called. They wanted to know what John Lennon thought of the mayor of New York not extending the curfew in Strawberry Fields for his memorial service. John's answer was this; "He supports Hillary Clinton. What else would you expect? I have no respect for him at all." They also asked if Frank Sinatra could give us a new song. Frank isn't doing anything new, just his old standards. His total occupation is taking care of Those trapped in limbo because of The Kingdom Of God's war with The United States. He has spoken to John Lennon a couple of times about coming up with a new song for him called "This Isn't My America." But they haven't quite got it to the point where they want it yet. You know how these big performers are when they try to collaborate on something! But if they ever finish it we'll bring it out as soon as possible. One possible line in the song is "I've no place to leave my heart any more." Sounds like it's going to be a real tear jerker!
Are you looking for a great and unusual gift for someone this year? An associate sent us a real blast from the past! Groovy Candies, a selection of goodies from the 60s that bring back fond memories. Did you ever trade Necco wafers with your friends to get the flavors you wanted, or trade Bazooka bubble gum cartoons, or chew on Indian Pumpkin Seeds, or wait for your favorite flavor of Fizzies to dissolve? Must've drank gallons of that! This is a box of real treasures. And this isn't a commercial plug. We don't work for the company or anything. But if you know an oldster like me and want to really jog the memory, this would be an appreciated gift. You can find their web site at;
