All May Participate In Petition

Got a strange request the other day. Didn't have a chance to mention it because of yesterday's stupidity. Someone wrote and said "I believe very much in what you're doing, but I am a Hindu, a non Christian. May I send my wishes to Lord Peter asking him to give this great honor to our Dear John and pray in my own way that this be done?"
Now, this took some considering. I sent the request to Lord Peter, and it was debated for several hours. Many Christians thought that it should only be for Christians, but finally Peter gave this decision.
"Whereas this petition is meant to show the living's belief in what John has done, and to raise the Power of The Kingdom Of God as those who sign it pray for John, I see no reason why those of other faiths cannot send their beliefs and good will. Where They here in The Afterlife joined in the battle against Gore, and helped us in the defeat against him, I feel it only appropriate that they, too, may send their good wishes and approvals. Let it be so!"
The instructions on the petition will be altered some time today to show Lord Peter's approval. All in the world are now eligible to send a petition approving John's elevation to Apostleship.
Well, I guess that's all for today. Another heat wave. 3 degrees, no wind. That's supposed to come tomrrow. Provisions are getting a little low. Our friend hasn't been able to get here from Valley City because the storms keep coming on the weekend. But he hopes to get here tomorrow, and we can get out to the cheaper stores and get some of the necessities. Speaking of cheaper, there ought to be some real bargains out there! I remember quite a few years ago when there was another Christmas that didn't get up to expectations. There were a lot of leftovers. I had to walk through the malls when I left work and kept going by a Hickory Farms. Their prices kept going lower and lower! Finally they were selling big Christmas gift packs that had originally sold for $22.00 for $4.00. I could resist no longer! I bought five of them, and we ate beef sausage, cheese and crackers for months. We thought we'd died and gone to the Afterlife! I can't imagine what that same size gift pack would cost today. Probably $50.00 or more. But there are certainly bargains out there worth having. I hope everybody finds a whole bunch of them and benefits from The Kingdom Of God's sabotage of Christmas. People responded real well to The Angelic Messengers in the mall telling them not to buy, that things were going to get really, really bad. The war against the US economy continues but there's no reason why it can't benefit those that don't have that much and can use the bargains the retailers are forced to give. I'll certainly be looking for them.
