Splinter Souls
By; Speaker Gerald A. Polley

As Great Souls make the journey through the ages They live many lifetimes. And sometimes one of those lifetimes is so important, so famous, that when They are called upon by some great mission to return to life They find it extremely difficult to do so, for many are dependant upon Them in The Afterlife for guidance and protection. At these times the Great Souls do one of the wondrous things They are capable of. They create a splinter Soul. They seperate that part from Them that needs to stay in The Spirit Realm and have It remain, carrying on the duties that It always did while They return to life to carry on other duties.
These Splinter Souls are as real to the people in The Afterlife as the Original was. They function exactly as the Original did. For the first few years the Parent Soul must return to the Splinter Soul and reenergize It every three months or so, absorb what memories It has gained, and give It Theirs. But as time goes on the parent Soul has to return to the Splinter Soul less and less, until after a thousand years or so The Splinter Soul becomes a totally independent entity, able to absorb Its own energy, and to sustain Itself indefinitely.
There is only one small detail that seperates Splinter Souls from Real Souls. They cannot reincarnate. No matter how old They become, no matter how long They live, They can never, ever become True Souls and join in The Circle Of Life. But as long as The Afterlife exists, as long as The Spiritual World thrives, They will exist and thrive, teaching healing, doing all manner of wondrous things, as real as real matters, but not real at all. The Power of The Blessed Ones is sometimes beyond understanding, but yet beautiful beyond belief!
