Two things happened at this week's sabbath celebration worthy of note.
First of all, a delegation of American Indians from Eskimos to Seminoles
approached Lord Peter with a complaint. "You recognize us," They
began, "as separate nations, as not part of The United States. You
support our right of individual sovereignty, yet our people who live in
The United States are not permitted entry into The Kingdom Of God because
of the war between you and The United States. We ask that the ban
against them be lifted. That they be allowed to join Their Loved
Ones here in The Kingdom Of God. Though many of our people return
to the old ways and do not wish to abide here, Those that do should be
allowed to. Though we belong to denominations that betrayed Jesus,
none of us did so."
Peter thought for a moment, and said "Let me council with the Apostles
on this. I need Their opinion." Peter and The Apostles counciled
for several minutes, then Peter returned. "All you say is true,"
he announced. "We DO recognize the individual sovereignty of each
Indian nation, and do not count you as subjects of The United States.
And it is also true that all of you that dwell with us were loyal to Jesus.
So, your request is granted! Your Loved Ones held in The Edict are
released, and any of them that die from this day on, will not be held under
its conditions." The Indian Peoples quickly hurried off to gather Their
Loved Ones.
Barely had Peter taken a step than Pope Cletus and a Catholic delegation
approached him. "Lord Peter!" The Pope began, "We approach you on
the matter of your Edict forbidding the use of our titles and, our vestments.
We know when you pronounced this Edict you said the conditions were forever.
But Our Lord And Savior has sometimes made that utterance and after people
had proved themselves, softened His heart and gave them pardon.
We ask of you an opportunity to win back the right to use our titles and
wear our vestments. If we can encourage our people to send Petitions
for Our Dear John's Apostleship, if we can get a good percentage of them
to take part in the campaign, is there not some possibility that you could
soften your heart, forgive us , and let us again use those titles dear to
us, and wear those vestments that have become the symbols of our offices?"
Again, Peter thought for a moment and said "Let me council with The
Apostles." They again discussed for several minutes, and Peter returned.
"You make good arguments," he announced. "It is true, The Lord forgives
when great effort is shown. I will say this. If you are able to
raise ten per cent of the Petitions for Our Dear John, I will let you again
use your titles. If you raise twenty per cent of the Petitions, I will
again let you wear your vestments."
Pope Cletus thanked Peter for his kindness, and withdrew with the other
Catholics to plan on who They would try to reach to help with John Lennon's
Petition Campaign. This should help, considerably to squash the Catholic
resistance to John's Apostleship. I think old Cletus is being quite
resourceful here! The effort should keep the Catholic community in
The Afterlife occupied and too busy to have ideas of fielding Their own
candidates for the Apostleship. But again, this raises the stakes
on The Petition Drive even more. We desperately need to get it rolling!
Another interesting note at this week's sabbath. John Lennon made
a rather interesting pronouncement in his weekly address. We won't
repeat the entire address, but just this interesting part.
"Many have asked," John remarked, "whether or not I now consider myself
a Christian. I have given this much thought, and talked to Lord Peter
about whether or not one has to declare himself a Christian to be a resident
of The Kingdom Of God. Lord Peter informed me that in my particular
case it was not necessary, that I could either declare myself a Christian,
OR, call upon my descendancy from my father, Abraham, to be eligible to
dwell in The Kingdom Of God. I do, today, announce that that is the
circumstance that I will call upon to be a resident of God's Kingdom.
I am a descendant of Abraham, one of The Chosen People, and by that right
do I claim my residency in The Kingdom Of God. I, in no way, look
down upon Those who declare Their residency by calling upon the blood shed
for Them by Jesus Christ. But I prefer, myself, to reside under the
circumstances of the older Covenant, which is my right. I hope,
henceforth, my feelings on this matter are made clear to all."
That is the only part of John's comments this week we believe would
be of any note to the general public.
John continues to have us reach out for Australia. He seems obsessed
with the belief that the Australians will respond to the Petition Campaign
for his Apostleship more than anyone else. But each time we email
Australia we get more and more requests to have their addresses removed
from our mailing list. Some are polite, and we remove them without
question. Others are obnoxious and earn Lord Peter's rebuke before
they are removed. One letter really made me wonder. It said
"Stop emailing us this crap! People in Australia don't believe in
religious nonsense. Most of us don't even believe in God. The
stuff you're sending is ridiculous! It couldn't possibly be, and
no one in Australia would take it seriously. We're rational people
here and don't believe in miracles." I found this a very strange response,
and very hard to believe.
We have begun a web page on the Petition site listing those Australian
organizations that ask to be removed from our mailing list, and will probably
be starting pages for other countries, soon. Lord Peter wants the
world to know who those are that rejects The Word Of God.
The web site that was mentioned here has been removed. For the story behind why check out
