Not On The Sabbath
I wish I could say Al Jolson's first performance with The
Angelic Choir went well, but it went far from well. Though
John Lennon's new song "Our Darling Mary," is being
sung throughout The Spirit Realm, a committee approached Lord
Peter almost as soon as the morning sabbath celebrations
concluded, which is not accepted protocol. Committees may
approach Peter AFTER the sabbath ends, but not during it.
Peter was quite upset that protocol had been violated. He
was even more upset when the committee announced They represented
Those that opposed John Lennon's Apostleship, and requested of
Lord Peter that he send out an immediate decree forbidding the
singing of John's new song anywhere in The Kingdom Of God.
"He has made Our Dear Lady," the committee spokesman
announced, "sound like a woman of the street, a woman of
loose moral character. His work, though great, has begun to
be negative. He is now harming and humiliating The Kingdom
Of God more than he is helping It. None of the living will
send Petitions supporting his Apostleship. The appointments
he is making are not appropriate. He is changing things
that have gone on for untold ages. But this insult to Our
Blessed Mother, to The Mother Of Our Lord, is unconscionable.
Forbid it, Lord Peter, we beg of you!"
"Come back at the proper time!" Peter snapped, "and
repeat your request at the END of the sabbath celebrations, and I
will give you my answer THEN! Do NOT disturb the sabbath
celebrations again!"
The committee quickly departed and returned at the appropriate
time repeating their request.
"No!" Lord Peter answered. "I find
Dear John's new song more than appropriate! And, I think it
expresses our feelings for Our Lady quite well. I will NOT
forbid its use! And I will warn you here and now; violate
protocol again, disturb the sabbath again, and all involved will
be put out of Our Lord's Kingdom. You know proceedure, you
know the rules. NEVER disturb me on the sabbath again!"
The committee quickly departed, and the song is still being sung.
A crowd of support gathered under John's balcony a little while
later, asking him to sing for them, which he did, and several
other of their favorites. This seems to be becoming an
unofficial Saturday tradition. This particular situation is
under control. But the growing opposition to John's
Apostleship is certainly becoming more organized and more
determined.
John is personally trying to reach some of those people we have
been emailing to in Australia, trying to have them feel his
presence, and to let them know that our correspondence is real.
He made up a cute little song for Australian children that we
would like to share with you, and he hopes that they will enjoy.
