John Lennon's Tribute To The Beach Boys
Hadn't intended another email this week, but was
checking in with John Lennon yesterday and just got kidding with
him, saying, "Hey, John! The Beach Boys are going to
be here in Fargo the 22nd. You did something for Elvis and
The Monkees, how about something for The Beach Boys?"
"No sweat!" John said, "How's this?" He
immediately sang the song below, and I'm going "How does he
DO that?"
We're not sure we got it all right. It was kind of a rush
job, but it's pretty close to what John had in mind. It just
fascinates me, still, how you can give him a subject and
sometimes before you can even get out what you were talking about
he's got a song about it!
Though the powers in The Spirit Realm are increasing,
unfortunately ours continue to drain. We have been in this
area nearly two years and the psychokinetic energy we are drawing
on is extremely drained. So things aren't coming through as
clear and sharp as they should be. But I really thought
everybody would enjoy this little ditty. I think we have
all shared John's feelings on the matter.
Sadly, John makes no offer to give any of his songs to The Beach
Boys. I don't know why, other than he said something about
"Naw, not really my style. Though when he was singing
this it definitely had a Beach Boy beat which we can't seem to
copy. But still we'll keep on trying! We're just
too damned persistent and stubborn to give up! If anybody
knows The Beach Boys pass this along to them. John does
send them his deepest regards.

(Chorus)
Wo, wo, that sound!
wo, wo, that sound!
It made our dreams
on those summer days.
Wo, wo, that sound!
1. You gave us the wind and the waves,
You gave us the warm summer days!
Everybody came around
When we played that sound!
Wo, wo, that sound!
2. Wo, wo, that sound!
Wo, wo, that sound!
The girls on the beach
they were really neat!
Wo, wo, that sound!
3. When I think back to my summer days,
Back to the wind and the waves,
On all of our friends on who we could depend,
wo, wo, that sound!
4. Wo, wo, that sound!
Wo, wo, that sound!
We were never afraid on those summer days.
Wo, wo, that sound!
(Repeat Chorus To End)
