Chapter Eight

Now one day as Muhammed was out preaching, he came to a village of The Judaens.  And a large number of Arabs had gathered there, also, for all had heard he was coming, and wanted to hear him speak.  And Muhammed sat on a great stone before the village walls, the children sat about him and even a young one, a little girl, sat in his lap.  And Muhammed said these things.
"Some say that the relationship between God and man is that of master and slave. I tell you, nothing is further form the truth!  Man's relationship with God is one of mutual love, of partnership.  Man loves God, and does God's Will because God loves him.  Neither is master, neither is slave.  Each serves the other and in serving each other, becomes stronger than anything that can come against them.
When a man loves God, his essence, his Soul, is indestructable.  For he keeps God's Way, and does not harm his essence.  And because man loves God, God returns his love to him a hundred fold, and man has many blessings.
And when he leaves this world, God has prepared a place for him, that he may rest and be comfortable, and be joyous with God, and this Place is Paradise.
And for a man to lose Paradise because he does not follow The Way Of God, is the greatest tragedy of all.  For the man who does not follow God, not only loses the Paradise that God has prepared for him, but existence, itself.
Those who stand against God, who stand against love, destroy themselves forever.  They suffer not only the first death, which is momentary, but they suffer, also, The Second Death, which is eternal.
So do good for God, and God will do good for you.  And all good will come to you."
And the little girl in Muhammed's lap looked up and said, "Then, Rabbi, why is there evil?"
And Muhammed smiled and remarked, "From out of the mouths of the little ones.  There is evil, dear one, because there are creatures of Darkness that wish to devour men's Souls, who live off hate and death.  They do not like the Truth, they do not like the Light, they do not like God, because God keeps man from doing evil and feeding them.  So they find the weak and the ignorant, and they turn them against the people of God, and cause them to do evil against the people of God, trying to break The Power Of God.
And they destroy mans' flesh, trying to make him give up God.  So, as he dies forever, they may feed on his Soul.
But those who love God cannot be destroyed.  Their flesh can be taken away, but they become The Spirit, The Forever, and are taken to God by His Messengers.  And The Dark Ones cannot feed on their Souls, and they are safe, forever.
Evil is the weapon of those that oppose God, and try to take men away from God.  Do not be taken from God, oppose evil, do what is right, and live with God, forever, even though this bag of flesh passes away.
That which is truly you will live forever, safe from any harm that The Evil Ones can do.  Such is The Power and The Love Of God."
"Rabbi," a little boy asked, "You said each of our forbears gave us a different aspect of God.  What did each of Them give us?"  And Muhammed smiled again.
"Now, these are the things that our Forbearers gave us," he answered, "Father Abraham gave us Yaweh, The Way.  He was the first to make man understand that there was only really One God.  He taught his children this, and it was passed down from generation to generation.
And his great descendant, Moses, gave us Jehovah, The Law, which is steadfast and true, and right for all men.  For it is The Law Of God, not man.
And The Prophets gave us Ishtar, guidance, the Wisdom Of God, to bring us back to His Way when we had gone astray.
And Jesus gave us the greatest of God's Gifts...Christar, God's Love, God's Glory.  He gave Himself, that we would not have to ever again shed innocent blood for atonement, for He was The Perfect Atonement, The Perfect Love, The Christ.
These are the things that our forebearers gave us, little one.  This is The Glory of the past that we must build upon, that we must never let die."
"And you gave us Allah!"  another little boy cried.  "You gave us Allah, The Great Truth above all other Truths."
"Yes, Muhammed answered, I gave you Allah, God's Truth.  And that is all I can give you.
Now, depart your little bellies are growling. Go and fill them.  I am weary, and for a time I must rest before I journey on to teach others. But I thank you for hearing my humble words!"
