THE SPOILS OF WAR

1  Now, my beloved, my precious ones, we will talk about the spoils of war.
2  What are the spoils of war?  It is all that one catptures from an enemy, his land, his cattle, his people, his gold, his silver.
3  Anything that is seized during a campaign are the spoils of war, and belong to all those who engaged in the campaign.
4  After the sponsors of the campaign are reinbersed, whatever is left belongs to those that fought the campaign.
5  The value of it should be tallied and divided in this manner.  The leader of the campaign should get four shares, his Captain should get three shares, his lieutenants should get two shares, and common soldiers should get a share a piece.
6  Now, if there are men killed that have wives and children, their share shall go to their widows according to their rank.
7  Now, if a leader of a campaign already has much, and his share is not needed by him, he may  return his share to the general pool to be divided equally among the rest.
8  So, also, for the Captains and the Lieutenants.  If they have more than they could ever use, they too, may return their shares to the general pool, for those who have little.
9  No greater tribute can a leader give his soldiers than to declare to them "My share is yours," for he is willing to reward them with what is rightfully his, and in doing so he honors them.
10  Now, an individual does not have to take all his shares in gold.  He may put his bid on anything that has been captured, and receive that as part of his reward.  This includes lands, tents, horses, and other cattle.
11  Captives are part of the prizes of war as well, and if they are not ransomed a man may put claim on these, also.  12  But they are not slaves.  They shall be paid as any servant is paid.  And when they have paid back what they were valued at, they shall be free, and allowed to go their way.
13  No captive woman may be taken as wife without her  consent.  She may serve as a servant until she has earned her freedom and then may go her way.
14  Any man that forces himself into a captive woman shall be treated exactly the same as a man who has forced himself into any other woman against her will.
15  This is The Law Of Allah.  You would not want your mothers, your sisters, or, your daughters shamed, shame no one else.  Be honorable men.
16  The only things that are excluded from prizes of war are the enemy's captured weapons.  A soldier may take the sword, the shield, and the lance of any man he has slain on the field of battle, and even his clothes.  And these are his by the right of combat.
17  Any man that takes the weapons of someone one of his brothers has slain without his brother's consent, is a thief.
18  These things a soldier may keep or sell or loan according to his wishes.  For these things are his.
19  These, my beloved, are Allah's commands concerning the divisions of the spoils of war.  Honor them always, and Allah will know you.

MOTHERS

1  Now, know you this, my beloved, a mother is the most sacred thing to Allah.  For she is the bearer of His next generations, the continuation of His Glory.  If any should harm a mother, Allah's wrath is unquenchable!
2  Any man who strikes a woman with child and causes her to fall down, and causes her to lose that child, shall be put to death.
3  Any man that takes a woman captive who is with child, and puts himself into her with such force that she loses that child, shall be burned alive, for the crime he has committed is against both the mother, and, the child.  And his shame is unforgivable.
4  If a captive is taken with a newborn child who is suckling, and that child is harmed because those who capture her do not want to be bothered with it, they, too, are to be put to death.
5  Those who harm Allah's future generations cannot be allowed to keep their lives.
6  If any woman is convicted of a crime for which she is to be put to death, and she is with child, she shall be allowed to live until that child is born, and she has suckled it for six months, so the child may have a good beginning in life, and not be punished for the mother's crime.
7  Be wise, oh believers, and understand how precious are those to Allah that bear His generations.  Condemn any that say a woman is evil because she is with child, condemn any that say what a man and woman do to conceive children is evil.  For they are not of Allah, and wish to make what is good evil, so they can control what is between man and woman and gain their power.  Do not let them have power, my beloved.
8  Remember these things that Allah has taught you, and you will do well.
