How great are the politically powerful!  How marvelous they are!  They can stand against God, they can speak out and say their morally corrupt president is acceptable, they can keep him in office, but they forget God has forever, and God never forgets!  Senator Robert Torricelli of New Jersey has learned this little fact.  His power is gone, and Eternal Death awaits.
Man simply never seems to get the idea that you can't get away with it!  You can cheat in the material world, you can make political deals, you can do what's absolutely wrong for power, but sooner or later God will get you, sooner or later you've got to die and all that awaits is agonizing pain and Eternal Death.
 Senator Torricelli is learning this.  He's learning this the hard way.  Sooner or later he'll stand in Judgment and say "Please, Lord, I meant well!  I was thinking of the economic prosperity of my country!"  And The Lord will say "Go away!  You didn't know me, you didn't hear me. There's no place for you with me."  How sad these poor souls are, and how glorious are the righteous that can endure any pain, that can endure any sorrow because They know They do not have to worry about the hour of death.  For Them it will be a joy beyond reckoning.  They have Eternity while those that take the easy path have Eternal Death.  God gotcha, senator, He knows every secret you're keeping.  He knows everything you've done, and He's waiting to finish the job!  Who's next?
