Nothing new today. Quiet this morning. Here's John Lennon's latest song he wrote because President Bush wants to let Hussein go into exile. John just keeps cranking 'em out! He doesn't consider this one of his best, but it's an expression of his feelings. I told Linda it was unsingable, but she's learned how to sing it, and John stuck his tongue out at me! Sometimes I feel like we're working with a little kid!
HOW CAN YOU LET HIM WALK AWAY?

(Chorus)
How can you let him walk away?
He murdered our daughters, he murdered our sons.
How can you let him walk away?
How can you let him live another day?
1. You live in a country that is free
a land that's supposed to stand
for justice and liberty.
Yet you let the people do
whatever evil things they want to do.
They're not punished,
is the way, it seems.
They steal away the peoples' hopes and dreams.
And violate the soul of America.
2. You've gotta stop them from getting away,
from going to do more evil and never pay.
How can you let him walk away?
To walk in the sunshine another day?
The souls of our daughters and our sons,
Cry for justice, yet it's never done!
Don't let the evil ones keep walking away!
Use your voice, your minds, and say,
Justice must prevail, they can't get away!
3. Help to end the fear and the terror for everyone.
Help all the daughters, help all the sons!
Stand for justice and liberty, let victory be won.
Let another tomorrow in honor begin,
Stop the fear and the terror from evil men.
Protect the world from those who want it to end,
Bring justice and liberty back once again!
Justice must prevail!
Keep the faith and we'll never fail!
4. Why won't you see the mothers' tears?
Why won't you hear the fathers' wails?
How can you sleep at night?
Where has your conscience gone?
There's no meaning in your prayers.
How can you let him walk away?
How can you let him live another day?
No one is free while others are enslaved.
There is no justice when evil has its way.
(Repeat Chorus To End)
Another group of Peepians, The Spearons, had a very strange custom. The husbands and wives were always cremated together. If one died first They were dehydrated and sealed in plastic from head to foot, and kept in the home of the spouse in a special place, until the spouse died. Then the spouse, too, was dehydrated and they were cremated together. Can you imagine if your wife died when you were about thirty and you lived to 96? Widowers did not remarry. They sometimes had live in companions but children of those companions were not considered relatives of the man and wife's children. They virtually had no status in society.
