No email yesterday because Linda and I were having an argument because
she has become so emotional about John Lennon's breakdown, which is definitely
a strain on all of us. It has become apparent that when we can get
the financial resources we cannot remain together. We have tried
for a long time to resolve our differences, but it has become virtually
impossible because we have conflicting ways of dealing with problems.
During our discussion a glass of water got knocked over and of course it
had to land right in the computer's keyboard! Result, disabled keyboard!
Fortunately, we had a spare that we were able to get going. We will
try to keep together and keep the Work going, but we do not know how long
that will be possible.
Now that the personal matters are dealt with, Muhammed is glad The
Iraqis are finally making an effort to try Hussein. But he still
would prefer a tribunal as he first suggested to President Bush.
He does not want Iraqis trying the case so there will not be discourse
among the Iraqi people afterwards. And he wants the death penalty,
not just for Hussein but for many of his minions. We wish we had some way
of getting a hold of the justices forming this tribunal to give them Muhammed's
message. But nobody thinks it's important. Of course in time,
they will realize it was, but then it will be too late.
Aside from that, nothing much new. Despite our personal problems
we still believe in The Work Of The Lords, and even if we go our
separate ways, we'll both be spreading Their Teachings. Exhaustion
is just effecting both of us. Maybe if we could get a little help
we'd get along better. It is just Linda is having a very hard time
being separated from John Lennon. But she should be able to deal
with it, and not have the problems that are occurring.
Jesus extremely angry that we are having so many personal problems.
He blames it on the fact that we are so over worked and no one has rallied
to help us. He is especially irritated that we emailed to over 200 members
of The Knesset in Israel and did not get one reply. The world seems
determined to commit suicide, and we seem to have no way of reaching them.
Jesus dreams of us having the sponsorship so we could put His messages
directly in several major newspapers each time He has one, so that the
world could be hearing what He has to say. He cannot understand why
nobody listens, nobody spreads His messages when He sends His Angelic Messengers,
The Holy Ghost, and the majority of the people that receive our messages
know they are true, but simply will not act. Many say "Somebody else
will take care of it, somebody else will make them better known, somebody
else will cry 'They are the truth, listen!' I don't want to get involved."
Unfortunately by the time somebody else does, the human race will be destroyed.
That's the only problem with waiting for somebody else to do it.
It never gets done!
FOOTNOTE: It's obvious the dark forces in Iraq are trying to discourage any thought of trying Hussein. Yesterday's car bombings of police stations shows that. They know the end of Hussein means the end of their power. That's why it is so important to end Hussein as quickly as possible!

TRIAL BY JURY ON THE OLD WORLDS
Linda is going to jury duty this month, and the question has arisen, "Was there jury duty on The Old Worlds?" On Haven, no. All trials were conducted before a magistrate. There were no juries. The magistrate heard all evidence and made all sentences. There was no trial by jury. In extreme situations a military commander could make summary judgments even impose the sentence of death, without any hearing, whatsoever. The idea of a trail by jury would seem very strange to a Haven. The Hashons, however, had a very similar system to the human one. Jurors were selected from the community and a speaker sat over them to see that all legal procedures were properly followed. Not having a trial by jury to a Hashon, would be the greatest violation of their rights! They would consider that no justice had been done if a single individual heard the evidence and passed judgment. Peepians were tried before a council of elders chosen by the community. These councils did not change. Sitting in judgment was these individuals prime occupation, and to be placed on one of these tribunals was considered one of the greatest honors a citizen could achieve! It could not exactly be called trial by jury, but The Peepians thought it was much better for several people to hear the evidence in a criminal case and pass judgment, rather than one, and they were probably right!
