Imam Hussein, Muhammed's cousin and son-in-law calls for Shiite soldiers
to retake his shrine from militants who he says are the descendants of
those who murdered him. He asks The Iraqi People to set aside their
anger justified as it is, with the American soldiers that mistreated their
people. "These are naughty children," he remarks, "who, when given responsibility
could not deal with it because they have not been taught to be adults,
but only to do whatever they wanted to do. My people," the Shiite
hero cries, "your enemies, your true enemies, hold my mosque. They
are using it as a shield for a murderer and a madman. They are trying
to cause it to be damaged in and rise you in an unholy war that will only
destroy you.
Muhammed," he says, "prepares to bring his power to the people.
He has called the servants of God to his service. Answer their call,
not the call of the unholy, the call of the thief. If you obey you
will have treasure beyond your understanding. Your people will become
one of the greatest that has ever been known. If you fail Islam will
die and all of mankind with it. "God is with the righteous" should
be your battle cry. God is with the true. I ask you to rise
up, to stand side by side with The American Forces, and to retake my sacred
places. Seize this murderer who would use you to commit more murder
like those who murdered me. I send the Angels, I send God's Messengers
to touch you, and Muhammed sends his power to you. Use it rightly
and defeat the true infidels, those who call themselves your brothers,
but are truly your worst enemies. God be with the righteous!"
This ends Imam Hussein's statement.
