These dream Kimmel Shows don't want to stop! They just keep coming!
And they're so damned real, it's like I'm sitting there in my little chair
in front of my tray munching on popcorn and watching it. The latest
one started out with me, Linda, and Jimmy walking down the street towards
the theater. A gorgeous woman runs up with feathery wings on her
back wearing only a skimpy bra and skimpy underpants. She hands me
a scroll, kisses me on the cheek, and then runs off. Jimmy looks
on wide eyed. We enter the theater and head off to the dressing rooms
as Jimmy goes on stage. Jimmy sits down and goes "The Polleys just
came in with me. Thank God they're back safe and sound! They'll
be on later. Boy! I want to subscribe to that messenger service
they have! Wooo!"
Then, he started talking about the other people they had on; a reporter
that had exposed some Democratic corruption and was really being attacked
by them for it, and a famous basketball player who was having trouble with
the Democrats, too.
The reporter came on, and boy, was this woman a knock out; brunette,
beautiful eyes, made every man she looked at go "Wooo!" She told
her story, how she'd found out what this Democratic senator was up to,
made it public. That he was now in the midst of prosecution, and
in too much trouble to be any help to Kerry. The Democrats were after
her, saying that it was all political, and that she should not have revealed
the information until after the election so it wouldn't have put their
candidate in a bad light. "This was criminal activity!" the woman
was saying, "It wasn't some misdemeanor domestic stuff, it was real bad
criminal behavior! It couldn't wait until after the election!
As a public spirited citizen I had to make these things known." The
audience went into roaring, cheering applause. Jimmy and the woman
talked a little bit more about what she had exposed, and then they went
to commercials.
When they came back they brought out this well known basketball player,
and Jimmy asked him why The Democrats were after him, saying that he should
not be making political statements. "Well, I'm sure everybody saw
it," the basketball player remarked. "We won an easy game the other
night. I mean, these guys were playing so bad we could've played
two men short and still beat them! It's like some of their players
weren't even on the court! Well, we got done, a reporter came up
to me and said 'Well, that was an easy game, wasn't it?' and I answered,
'Yes. I hope we beat Kerry that easily!' That's all I said!
The next thing I know The Democrats are all over me, saying I have no right
to make political statements from the court, and I should not be attacking
their candidate. Hey! I'm an American citizen! I got
rights! If I wanna say 'Don't Vote For Kerry' I can say it anywhere
I want to and these Democrats aren't going to stop me! I'm not going
to pay any fines. I've got a whole bunch of lawyers that are going
to fight them right to The Supreme Court if we have to! They're not
going to take MY right to speak away because I play basketball!"
The crowd went absolutely wild, screaming and applauding..
They talked a few more minutes about basketball and then Jimmy announced
"The Polleys are coming out in a minute. They're going to sing. "
We came out, did a song I'm not even familiar with, something about "Things
Are Really Changing Now!" Jimmy came over, grabbed my arm and shook my
hand so vigorously I thought it was going to come off, then hugged and
kissed Linda several times. Then we sat down on the couch while the
audience roared with applause. Jimmy asked "The trip appeared to
be a real success. Do you think it's all going to work?" "We
can only wait and see," I answered, "we can only wait and see, but if people
continue to support us we've got a chance, we've got a real chance.'
That was the end of the dream! I woke up, realized I'd
over slept and hurried to get ready for work. Lady, I don't know
what television station you work for, but I hope you find that information
and nail that Democrat! Wonderful dream!
