Well, it all started February 7th, 2,005 when my husband Gerald gave
his notice to get done working at the job he'd had for five years since
we lived in Fargo, North Dakota. It was a dishwashing job and he
loved working there, but one woman spoiled it by continuously asking
for the silverware when she didn't need to, and driving everyone except
the boss' wife nuts.
Gerald wanted to work until the middle of March but the boss said
no. His last day was February11th then he had a week off with
pay, which would have been his next vacation pay. I called the
landlord to tell them we would be moving at the end of February, since
Gerald didn't have to work any more after all. He said we might
as well get out of here at the end of February. My phone call
February 11th put a quick end to that! The rental office told me
we had to give a written 45-30 day notice and they even had a form
prepared for us to sign there. I called Gerald at work and told
him the landlord had said this. At first he told me to tell them
we wouldn't pay the March rent. Then he called me back and told
me to pay the March rent, sign the paper, get a copy and as long as
they "stay out of my face it'll be o.k."
The 13th, a Sunday, Gerald had me send an email to our friend Jesse in
Bismarck, ND, and asked him if there was a major airport there.
We had no clue as to why he asked this. The week before we were
just planning on publishing the book I had just finished about my Work
with the Spirit of John Lennon since 9/9/99. It had taken me
since, I think, November to complete the art in it.
Anyway, come to find out Gerald wanted to know about the airport if we
needed to move to Bismarck we could get to Hollywood for "Jimmy Kimmel,
Live!" o.k. He also asked Jesse if he would want us to stay with
him for a while. The power we use from The Kingdom Of God in
Fargo was running out again and we needed to move even though we didn't
have a publisher or, a sponsor, like we were supposed to have to make
our last move to Valley City, ND where Jesus said Gerald would do his
greatest work ever, and still swears he will some day!
Jesse wrote back, told us there is a city bus, also, and his most
memorable comment was "The countdown begins!"
SO we're really leaving here after five years! Now I can't wait
to see what happens!
A miracle has happened! A radio station in Bismarck (Jamestown,
really) has accepted an ad Jesus had me make last night because the one
He sent the station managers wouldn't accept! It has my voice
plus the background is me playing the keyboard to June Cash's new song
about Bismarck! It's great. It's going to be on five days
and Good Friday, plus it only cost $70.00! Also the station
broadcasts online. They're a country station, and, AM.
Can't wait to see what happens. Happy St. Patrick's Day to
us! Everyone in The Afterlife is celebrating the first time
anyone has wanted to do this for us! We charged it by phone.
We have almost all our packing and cleaning done. Just have to
touch up the bathroom and kitchen. The suspense has been high
here for a few weeks. Jesus said in His newspaper ad The Bismarck
Tribune published we're looking for a publisher. We told people
in our emails too that it was for publishers in Bismarck only.
Then people in The Afterlife complained publishers other places should
have a chance to help us, provide a residence if they could offer the
money He mentioned, and publish Gerald's books. No one responded
to Jesus' emails, so today He put in tomorrow's "Here's Jesus!"
that we WILL be moving to Bismarck, ND on March 30th! We told our
friend Jesse, who we'll be staying with there, and he was
thrilled! Of course we already have the UHaul reserved.
Time marches on and it's wearing army boots! Hope all goes
well. Will write again here soon. What a great day!
Happy Equinox everyone! Tomorrow our commercial starts airing on
the Bismarck radio station through Friday. The Kingdom Of God is
sending Its Forces to help get people to respond to it.
I put Jesse's address on our web sites except for the Tripod
page. When I changed it it messed up and the street address
wouldn't register! So we left it. Jesus was here drawing
pictures through Gerald. He wanted to make sure I wrote here that He
made me lunch. It was great, macaroni, mushroom soup, and frozen
veggies!
Getting stuff straightened around here for the move. Gerald
rented a UHaul storage room. The building is in Jesse's
neighborhood. The neighbors brought Gerald's pants back. She
sewed them for him. They're going to help us get the UHaul the
29th and load it. We've got to separate the stuff we want in the
apartment.
Had a great dinner Friday with the neighbors at the Chinese restaurant
we never went to before. They will be moving in April to their
new trailer in Minnesota. We can't wait 'til we get to Bismarck!
Wouldn't you know it? There's a two bedroom apartment for rent
right next door to Jesse, but we can't get it. It's $490 a month
plus utilities. Gerald has no job yet. It's just like my
dream I had when we moved to ND! Oh well! Better go for
now. Going to play the keyboard while Gerald is playing a
game.
