SPIRIT ON WOMEN

What Is The Spiritist Teaching On Women's Rights?

The Lords teach very clearly that a woman has the same rights and responsibilities as a man. That she should be given the same wages for the same work, and is in no way inferior because of her sex. That women should be given some special considerations because they are the bearers of life. But these considerations should not be made to burden them, or interfere with their right to choose any occupation that they feel they are qualified for.
In marriage the man and the woman are considered equal in the house, but as a house that is divided cannot stand, it is agreed to before the mating contract is signed who shall have the ultimate authority in all family decisions.
Oftentimes, it was the woman of the house that handled the family affairs with the full consent of her partner.
As with The Lords, the relationship between man and woman should never be one of master to slave but should be one of partnership, each joyfully fulfilling the needs and desires of the other...not by law or by custom, but by the tenderness they hold, one for the other. This is The Way Of the Lords, between a man and a woman.

DECLARATION OF SPIRITIST RELIGION
What A Spiritist Believes

2. A Spiritist believes that communication with Spirit is possible.

* * *

Spiritists believe that there are living people that have the ability to see into The Spirit World and receive messages from our departed Loved Ones and relay those messages to the living. Spiritists call such persons Sensitives. Spiritists also believe that our departed Loved Ones desire to communicate with us, and that they also give us daily guidance and protection.
