Jolly-o, pip pip, and all that! Hello, all of you good people out
there! My name is Fred, and if you haven't guessed by now, I'm a bit of
the English.
Here in The Spirit World, I am an actor currently starring in The
Spirit World version of a very popular British science fiction series
called Dr. Who.
Spirit television is a little bit different from the way it works on
Earth. Here people all over the world order the daily episodes of your
show. If you continue to get enough orders to make your productions
worthwile you
keep going, if you do not continue to get enough orders for them you
stop
making them. Fortunately we are one of the most popular shows currently
running.
It is funny sometimes to visit parts of the world that are still like
the 1900s, and to see our shows shown in cinemas with the dialogue
written
at the bottom of the picture.
How, do you ask, do people there have the time for so much
entertainment in Spirit?
Well, as Spirits only work an eight hour day, sometimes less, and most
do not bother to sleep, this leaves sixteen hours to fill, so
entertainment is an important and vital industry. The only problem with
The Spirit World is its perfection, and finding things to occupy your
time between lifetimes can be very important!
I really enjoy my work, and love doing personal appearances with my
travelling companions from the show. My life long experience in the
vaudeville theaters gave me ample training to carry on the profession
in Spirit, and I thoroughly enjoy my work.
There is just something about taking a half hour or hour of peoples'
time and filling it with fun and adventure that makes me feel extremely
good! And any profession a person has in Spirit should do this...make
them feel extremely good!
I hope you have enjoyed my little talk and if you have any questions be
sure to ask. I'd love to talk with you again.
By the way, I'm Doctor #6, played on Earth by Colin Baker.
*Editor's note 1998-Fred has now been reincarnated for several years.
We wish him a long and happy lifetime!
Married life is hrad enough sometimes, naturally, but for me it is not
really as hard as it is downright confusing! When I met my
husband-to-be at a Spiritualist seance in 1971 I had no idea what it
would be like for someone to marry a psychic medium. Six months or so
later I found out, and
he's never been the same since....literally! I never know from one
minute to the next if he's going to be leaving his body going into
trance for a short
time, and one of his Spirit Guides, or, some Spirit of a famous
historical figure will be "borrowing" him to leave a messsage for me,
or for the magazine, or just will come to talk a while. The Spirit may
not even be one who was well known; sometimes I'm not sure if some of
these beings ARE Spirits.
I may sound like I'm complaining, but I love every minute of this
unusual life we have together, and it makes things even more
interesting when I go into trance once and a while with my Guides, too.
Things just get a bit difficult around here for me, trying to keep
track of these comings and goings and who's who, but I am always very
glad to have such honored company. This has been going on for fifteen
years, and I hope it continues as long as we're on Earth.
Perhaps some day I may be visiting someone from The Spirit World. I
hope if so, they will make me as welcome!
