A New Year Dawning

Want to begin this year with one of Gerald's weird dreams! He dreamed that we went to the hospital for something, and when we got there there was a big discussion going on in the lobby. There was the sweetest baby in a little carrier. Some hospital officials were arguing with the members of her family and some social workers. The social workers were saying "We can't take the baby! She has all kinds of living relatives! There's no reason that some of them can't take her." The hospital representative turned to the family members and said "Why won't you take her? She's a beautiful baby! There's absolutely nothing wrong with her." "No!" a spokesman for the family said. "She's cursed. She'll bring nothing but grief for the family. We won't take her! It simply cannot be!" Linda looked at the baby and it smiled at her, and she said "Can't we take it?" Gerald answered "We can't afford to take care of ourselves, let alone take care of a baby!" The hospital representative suddenly looked at us and said "If you take her we'll give her free medical care for the rest of her life, whatever she needs. We gaurantee it!" The representative of the family members whispered to several of his companions and then said "We'll set up a trust fund that will give her $400 a month until she's 18." Linda looked pleading at Gerald again. The baby made a happy little noise, he looked down at it, and went "Well, it appears we're supposed to." The dream continued with the baby being part of their many adventures. When she was about five she came home one day and looked up at Gerald working at his desk. "What do you want, pestlet?" Gerald asked. The little girl smiled and said "Everybody thinks you're a weirdo, daddy, but I love you!" Gerald stared at her but before he could respond woke up. Now where did that one come from? Of course it's absolutely impossible. No welfare agency would allow such a thing. But you can get away with anything in dreams! Jesus prepared a video for the women of Cincinnati that he wanted to be played New Year's Day. Unfortunately the window of opportunity is now passed and such a mass distribution of power would be impossible. The power could only be distributed now, to individuals or, small groups. The chance to blanket a whole cosmopolitan area has passed. However, Jesus says if churches want modified versions of the message to play at their church meetings, He will provide them, free of charge. We wish these windows of opportunity would not appear so suddenly and disappear as quickly! But that is the way things work in the type of thing that We are doing. You have to act when the opportunity is available, if not the opportunity passes. Here are links to the two videos that were prepared.

If you have friends in the Cincinnati area, you may want to let them know the opportunity they missed.

Last week's "Here's Jesus!" is up.

This week's is something entirely different! When the video is put up it will not be with the usual art work, but with actual scenes of Linda and Jesus recording the sessions, done with our web cam. We do not know how people will like this new idea. It may get quickly boring watching Jesus and Linda sitting there discussing things. But we thought we'd give it a try!
Jesus made a slight mistake, however, very rare for Him! He said the New Year's song being sung by John Lennon and Beatles & Friends was written by John. Actually it was written by Johann Sebastian Bach. John forgot to mention this at the concerts and everybody simply took it for granted that he had written it! Even in The Kingdom Of God misinformation can sometimes spread about! But it is quickly corrected. However, Jesus didn't want us to have to redo a whole section of the video for a little thing like that! We'll just let people know He was mistaken in that little thing.
The failure to get out Jesus' message in Cincinnati kind of put a damper on The Kingdom Of God's New Year's celebrations. Everybody had a good time, but Everyone is praying that Bach's words in the New Year's song prove true, that this is God's year, this is the year We will begin breaking through, this is the year things will start to change. We can only pray that is true! We were right out straight New Year's Day trying to get all this stuff up and running. Still several things to do! But a happy New Year to all!

New Years On The Old Worlds

As we speak of The New Year celebrations the question has arisen "Did the people of The Old Worlds celebrate New Years?" The celebration of the beginning of a new time cycle seems to be virtually universal. The Havens, The Hashons and, The Peepians all had major celebrations on The New Year. The seasons on Haven were much like those on Earth, and They celebrated The New Year about the same time humans do, just after The Winter Solstice, after the longest night when the days started to increase again.
The Peepians only went by Their calendar, as after the great holocaust They suffered it was almost impossible to tell one season from another. It got a little bit warmer in the summer, but not that much. So They kept time according to Their world's original orbit.
The Hashons did everything in reverse! Winter was Their growing season, summer was too hot and dry, so Their New Year's came in the spring, after the winter harvest. But Everybody celebrated the same things; the good fortune They had had in the previous year.
