"Good!" The Ancient One snapped. "I want you to
help Durga build some simple shield projectors. If we knock down
their shields I don't want that stuff mixing with native
atmosphere."
"Gotcha!" He sniffed. "Have you noticed we're
getting rather ripe?" he asked. "I thought it was just
me, but we all seem to be."
"These forms seem to be far more vital," The Ancient
One answered, "than those we create in our own world. It's
almost like real physical forms. Coming back I had to stop and
use the facilities. Never done that in one of these bodies
before. Usually that me doesn't exist. But when we take material
forms here they seem to be REALLY material forms! I think we'd
better use the showers the transdimensionals left here, and have
our clothes washed while we wear some robes or something."
The Professor who had been standing nearby, came over. "I
will arrange some attire for you immediately!" he snapped.
"I have noticed you appear tired. Perhaps you should rest,
also." "That might be a good idea!" The Ancient
One answered.
"That might be a VERY good idea! We've got some things we
have to take care of first. Then that might be a VERY good
idea!"
