Got another a video on line commenting on the matter mentioned in yesterday's email about Jimmy Kimmel's monologue comments and Jesus' response. Here is the link to both the version at You Tube, and the large version at our site. Also here's the large version of John Lennon's "Care" video at our site. We hope you will check them out, and make sure they're passed around!

Got this email from a Christian group Wednesday. "August 29, 2006 -- The Traditional Values Coalition charged today that California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has traded the religious rights of millions of Californians in an attempt to win votes from homosexual anti-religious extremists.
"Governor Schwarzenegger needs to read a copy of the U.S. Constitution and the First Amendment," said TVC Chairman Louis P. Sheldon. "He just signed SB 1441, a bill that clearly violates the religious freedoms of millions of Californians to appease the homosexual activist movement." SB 1441 will prevent private Christian, Catholic, Jewish and Mormon schools and universities or other religious institutions from receiving state financial aid for students if these schools refuse to endorse homosexuality, bisexuality and transgenderism."
We have to disagree. Governor Schwarzenegger was absolutely right in this particular circumstance. Because private schools shouldn't be getting state funding anyway. They should be getting no funding whatsoever that comes from tax resources. The very fact that they are private religious schools cuts them off from any public funding! If this particular bill does happen to be approved by the homosexual community this is one time that we have to agree with them! Not because these people are opposing homosexuality but because religious groups should not receive public funding. It's that simple! The homosexual community might like this bill, because it promotes their cause, but they're doing everybody a favor by stopping this funding! Another section from this newsletter;
"August 29, 2006 -- In perhaps one of the most egregious cases of anti-Christian discrimination in America to date, the Minneapolis Police Department, at the behest of pro-homosexual activists, has suspended a "highly rated" psychologist, Dr. Michael Campion, because of his past affiliation with a Christian group, the Illinois Family Institute. Americans for Truth Corporate Outreach Director Matt Barber decried Campion's suspension as an act of "blatant, illegal discrimination and anti-Christian bigotry--one which should send shivers down the spine of every person of faith."
"What was Campion's crime? It seems that three years ago, he was a board member with the Illinois Family Institute (IFI), a Christian organization which advocates traditional family values," said Barber, who himself was fired by Allstate Insurance Company last year after writing an online article critical of homosexuality."
If the circumstances these people are describing are true, we have to support them in this matter 100% No public organization has a right to fire someone because they are freely expressing their religious beliefs and belong to religious organizations that support decent values. Homosexual advocates are getting too much power when they could get decent people fired from their jobs because they oppose their sickness. This is simply not right! People have a right to voice their opinions, and those that speak out against evil must be protected. You can't fire people because they object to insanity.

Property Taxes For Schools

We are asked again and again "What is Jesus' stand on property taxes? Should people be required to pay property taxes to support public education if they do not have children in school?" We have discussed this again and again, and Jesus has always given the same answer. He considers it thievery to charge people for services that they don't use. He considers it theft. If people do not have children in the public schools they should not have to pay taxes to support the public schools! It is the same if people are not getting city water. They should not be taxed as if they are getting it. No matter what service a city provides, if any resident of that city is not getting that service, they shouldn't have to pay for it. This is only common sense. And it is The Kingdom Of God's official philosophy; no compromise, no argument, if you are charging people for a service they are not getting you are stealing from them! It's as simple as that!
