Those in The Afterlife were complaining that John Lennon had done a song for The Army, The Marines, Kurt Cobain wrote the song for The Air Force, and Johann Sebastian Bach had done a song for all the services in Iraq, but no one had done one for The Navy! John was completely stumped! So he invited four famous admirals to his balcony and with Beatles & Friends they worked out this little number! John says it's from a little bit of everybody trying to use modern themes. The Admirals involved asked us not to mention their names. They were just sailors giving their advice, adding a few words here and there. They consider the work is purely John's. The Navy chose the music! God, Himself, came through Gerald and sang it with Linda because Gerald has been having trouble singing lately. We hope everybody likes it and will pass it on to those who it is meant to praise! God wishes so much that He could've filled in for Kevin & Bean when they were on vacation! That would've been absolutely perfect! It is just so incredible to us that this opportunity is passing. But God has left some pretty incredible stuff during this visit, and started this campaign. It will be interesting, at least! Gerald emailed to some pro choice groups Monday, 26 of them! He got one return. He also mailed to 12 womens' rights groups. He skipped the gay and lesbian organizations. They'll learn about him soon enough and won't appreciate him! The email to NOW, however, came back, and that's somebody Gerald would really like to get ahold of. Because equality for women will be one of our major issues. If anybody knows anyone in that organization, do tell them about us!
Gerald also sent a request to the advertising manager of his home town newspaper, asking how much it would cost to print the first letter that he sent out to the media as a paid political advertisement, and to run a simple display ad that says "Polley For President" and gives the web site address. It's a silly little bit of vanity, but he'd really like to put his first ads in his hometown newspaper.
In Wednesday's "Here's Jesus!" is a question from February, 2,003, "What would You say to so called Christians who say homosexuality is o.k. because God created homosexuality?" and a new one answered by God, "Why are you sending messages now when You have said You already did this in the story of Lazarus and it didn't work?" It's not as complicated as you think
