Freedom Of Speech

Kevin & Bean have been doing these cute little songs for the holidays and Gerald just couldn't resist! Something somebody said at work made him come up with this one. Now, don't lets have anybody get upset, it's just for fun!

In Saturday's "Here's Jesus! are two more important questions from July, 2,003; "Can You explain about John Lennon's church and why he wants to begin it as soon as possible?" and, "Will someone have to come later and correct John Lennon's church too, as the others had to be corrected?" This episode is not to be missed! You decide if it was really a coincidence that this episode was put together to be released on the anniversary of John's death!

Christian Fundamentalists are attacking "The Golden Compass." They seem to miss the whole plot of the movie! An evil woman is torturing children for power, in the name of God. The child escapes to find that the God her people were worshipping was false. Sound familiar? We now have a false God in Washington who is deceiving the people and will sacrifice children to get her power. The Fundamentalists are completely wrong! It is The Kingdom Of God that produced this movie to turn children against those that will torture them for their empowerment. The Fundamentalists say these books were written against the church. Yes, the Catholic church which has a false God in Rome that is torturing women and children to keep its power! No, this movie is not a bad thing, it is a good thing. It teaches children that evil should not be followed even if it calls itself good.
The illusion of freedom of speech has been shown again by NBC's rejection of an ad from The Freedom's Watch organization praising the troops, because the organization supports the war, and obviously NBC is supporting the anti war fanatics. That people cannot get an ad on a network praising the troops with a link to their web site asking people to send care packages to the troops is a disgrace! There is no freedom when the executive of some company can say "I don't like your opinions and I'm not going to let you run this ad!" I don't support the war, and I won't let you support it!" Freedom of speech is a joke in America! The NBC executives use alot of rhetoric to cover up the fact that they're just plain prejudiced! We've emailed the foundation. We hope they respond!
We've been asked what we think of Oprah campaigning with Obama. Great! If they can beat out Hillary and knock her off the ballot, all the better! If we had to campaign against anyone we would prefer Obama, but if Hillary beats him out we ceratainly hope Oprah will find a better candidate that's a Republican!
We've been asked what The Kingdom Of God thinks of Duncanville, Texas banning a private sex club in a person's home. Do They not think this is a violation of freedom of choice and freedom of speech? Ha ha! Absolutely not! A private home is not a place for such gatherings. Two or three couples getting together in a home does not create problems, but when it becomes hundreds of people then the home is being used for a purpose that it was not intended for, and the neighbors have every right to object! It is the same with anything else. If a few people meet for church services in someone's home and do not create a nuisance for the neighbors this is perfectly acceptable, but when it becomes so many that they block the streets and create traffic problems, then it is unacceptable. People in residential areas must practice restraint and show courtesy for their neighbors. What goes on behind closed doors is private but when it becomes a nuisance to those around them it ceases to be private and becomes a community problem, and communities have every right to act. There are special occasions such as funerals and things when the neighbors should understand that there might be a little congestion. But these are not weekly occurances.
