Come On, Iowa!

Thursday Gerald wrote a letter to car dealers in California concerning selling teachers cars at no interest during the Christmas season and Linda emailed it to 50 of them! We got three nice phone calls, though they were mistaken in thinking we wanted to buy a car. One man said "God bless you for this idea!" His mother was a teacher, and he knows how important they are. He's going to pass the information on to his manager. Maybe they'll spread the word about the campaign and get more people checking out the web site! Here's the link to the letter on the site.

Got this reply "Quit spamming us, axxxxxx." from Coast Classics in San Diego. You can bet they're now on God's hit list Apparently they don't like teachers, so God now doesn't like them! And in the future God's people will know what to do.
Got this reply "Hello Gerald, No thank you. God bless. Please don't email us this nonsense again. Sincerely," From the Porsche Dealerships in downtown LA. Apparently they think Porsches are too good for teachers! But even if their cars were too expensive they could've gotten their financers to help other dealerships get teachers more affordable cars. So God does not appreciate this response at all! Porsche are imports aren't they, from Italy? Not only a bad mark against the car dealership, but a bad mark against a country.
Gerald mailed a new letter to 100 businesses in Ames, Iowa, Thursday. A copy of it will be on the Presidential web site. Still trying to reach out! Linda finished off the Indian Tribes in Alaska and got Arizona and got 20 more tribes! She found a better site with emails and what returns came we're sending out by surface mail. We've gotten three returns so far from that which is pretty good for over 100 mailed!
Our friend Lorn sent us a great gift which unfortunately right now we won't be able to use....a fax machine that plugs right into your computer! It's just a little thing, but we'd have to hook it up to the phone lines and we wouldn't dare use it because we have no idea how much the long distance rates would be, and we don't want to suddenly find we have a bill over $300 or something. It's inconvenient taking them to Staples, but we know there, how much it's going to cost us and we can't go overboard. It's a wondrous gift, however and we know that in the future when things are better we'll have it hooked up and be faxing people directly, all over the country and perhaps, the world! It's so great to have friends, people that believe! We just wish there were more of them!
In Friday's "Here's Jesus!" we feature two more questions from July, 2,003, "Would You have considered working in a musical outfit at any time?" and, "What is Your opinion of the musical "Godspell"?" One of our favorite episodes of all time. Be sure not to miss it!

Things are quiet in The Afterlife. The Mormons are rather disappointed their people didn't reply to our message. But They feel that as we get going and the fact becomes known how important they now are in The Afterlife, this will change. We hope so! We need their support! Oh! We got 3 more "Here's Jesus!" audios done so we're up to January 2, passed the holidays, and we intend to get more done today. Linda needs to get the text pages typed up, but this project is rapidly coming to a conclusion. There is only one tape left that has the old segments on it. It will be a sad day when Jesus does the last one. But we simply do not have time, or, the equipment, to carry on on the road while campaining. A miracle might come along. We will have to see. But this project should come to a conclusion in a few days.

How Can We Expect People To Believe?

We are often asked, how can the people in The Afterlife expect those in the material world to believe in us, what we do is so unbelievable? Well, let's see. The Mormons were taught by a prophet that Jesus and God spoke to directly. That same prophet is now speaking to us and sending messages to his living followers. Now if these people believed a prophet taught them, they should believe that another prophet could bring them new information. Though the discussion is still going on quite strongly in The Afterlife rather or not we're prophets. Our people say no, we work for The Prophets. We are not, ourselves, prophets. Jesus and Those in The Kingdom Of God say that God is talking to us directly, and we are giving His messages to the world. That makes us prophets! There's an awful lot of discussion, but it's good natured. Our people just do not want The Kingdom Of God putting a stronger claim on us. They don't mind loaning us, but we belong to Them, and They want that to be very clear! But Those in The Afterlife strongly believe that those in the material world should recognize us. God sends His Angelic Messengers to speak to them and tell them that we are real, and they consider that we give more than enough proof to satisfy anyone. Others would argue this, but Those in The Afterlife are steadfast. Those who follow them, that believe in Them should follow us because we are their servants. That's it, plain and simple! Those in The Kingdom Of God believe if the people believe in Them they should believe in us, and should accept us. If they do not, they are not true believers.
