A Dream That Won't Stop
Gerald continues to have these very frustrating dreams about moving to Los Angeles that are so realistic that it's a real pain! There's been several variations from moving into a millionaire's mansion to an apartment on top of Jimmy Kimmel's theater. But the most common one is that we move into an apartment building that's white stucco on the outside with black trim around the doors and windows. The apartment has a very large living room with bamboo roll down shades, which Gerald hates, by the way, that looks out on the highschool football field. It has three large bedrooms, a nice kitchen and a dining area. The house is carpeted with light tan carpets, except for the kitchen and bathroom which has white tile with gold flecks in it. The bathroom is very large, has a big clawfoot tub in the middle of it, two sinks and toilets on each side. Very odd set up! Everthing in the bathroom is white with gold trim. The kitchen has nice kitchen cabinets that have been stained slightly tan and have gold fixtures. The countertop is black and there's a big double sink. There's a little work counter in the middle of the kitchen that also can have some chairs put around it for a little eating area. But the dining area has a big, formal table; wood with wooden chairs. One of the bedrooms has already been converted into their office set up. One has a big double bed and the other has two good sized twin beds. This was obviously a very luxurious aparment in its day. Gerald was dreaming about this place again Monday morning. We have looked at the satellite pictures of Hollywood again and again and there is no building that fits that description. The only building that would have the view of the football field from out of the window would be The Roosevelt Hotel, and we definitely would be living there for a year! But sometimes dreams can be very frustrating! This one definitely wants to come true! It is very irritating but if somebody ever sends us pictures of this apartment showing the view out the window and these fixtures the way we've described them, Gerald is going to be very, very surprised and even more frustrated!
