Ali ibn Abi Talib's Ascension

Muhammed's ceremony of ascension will not be in one part. It will actually consist of two major ceremonies, one for The Islamic People, and one for the rest of The Kingdom Of God. The one for The Islamic People is beginning to be called The Departure, or, The Transfer, and it will probably go as follows.

The Thursday before the sabbath at sunset in Mecca a great procession shall begin in Mecca in The Afterlife. Muhammed and his wife will proceed through the streets led by pennant bearers bearing the symbols of their tribes. As they go the people will be singing the new song that has been written for Muhammed by Kurt Cobain, "Glory To The Prophet". Groups of Elders shall follow them from Muhammed's time, and warriors that fought for him. Then shall come Ali ibn Abi Talib and his wife. They shall be led by their pennant bearers Ali ibn has asked that the song be sung for him "I'm A Believer," the Spiritist version that was modified by Speaker Gerald Polley. Behind him shall come Islamic soldiers and religious leaders from all the ages.

All shall march to a great reviewing stand on the outskirts of Mecca. There God The Father and God The Mother will stand waiting. When Muhammed arrives he will salute them and he and his wife will stand aside and let those in their procession pass, then greet Ali ibn Abi Talib and his wife. Then they will take them up onto the reviewing stand before God The Mother and God The Father, and Muhammed will declare "This day I lay aside the leadership of The Islamic People, and I present Ali ibn Abi Tallib as my successor. Before all Here I ask The Creator Of This world, The Father Of Us All, The Giver Of Our Life, to accept my successor, and to declare him worthy, that he may bring honor and glory to Islam, and lead it as I have lead it."

Muhammed shall then step aside and motion Ali ibn Abi Talib forward. God shall place His hands on Ali's shoulders and three times declare "Ali ibn Abi Talib, I recognize you as the successor of Muhammed. Do as he has done and fulfill my glory always." After God has said this three times Ali ibn Abi Talib will kneel down and say "I accept the glory that I have been given, in the name of The Islamic People, who I will serve honorably and well." He shall then rise, and announce "As The Father Of All Life has blessed me, I ask His Consort to bless my consort, that as the wife of Muhammed has served him, and been his strength in hard times, she would serve me, and be my strength when it is needed." With this, God The Mother will come forward and bless Ali ibn Abi Talib's wife, as he was blessed.

Then, God will cry "It is done! The past is ended! The future begins! Let all come forth and praise The Leader Of Islam, my glory before his people!" And the pass in review will continue with Islamic leaders from all the ages saluting Ali ibn Abi Talib and pledging their devotion.

When this is done, the leaders of the other spiritual Kingdoms will lead a prosession before the reviewing stand, and each will come up and recognize Ali ibn Abi Talib as the ruler of Islam, this shall include Jesus Of Nazareth, Called The Christ, and His Apostles, Lord Krishna, and all of The Hindu Dieties, Lord Buddha, and the Leader of The Children Of The Lords and all of his followers, Lord Baldar and his wife, the Leader of The Asgardians, and Zeus and his wife, Leader of the people of Olympus.

Then will come a procession of leaders of the nations of the material world, including The Presidents Of The United States, the kings and queens of England, England's prime ministers, the kings and queens of other nations. Each will pay homage to Islam's new ruler and pledge Their support.

Then Ali ibn Abi Talib shall declare that the ceremonies are concluded and invite Everyone to enjoy the entertainment that has been arranged. A great concert shall begin featuring entertainers from all ages. And that shall end the day's festivities. This is how it is planned that Muhammed's rule of Islam will end, and his successor take his place, preparing for Muhammed's ascension to Apostle the following day.

Pomp And Ceremony On The Old Worlds

As We talk about the pomp and ceremony planned for Muhammed and his brother in law's ascensions, Gerald is asked "Were there things like this on The Old Worlds? Is there any place where pomp and ceremony wasn't necessary?" Gerald answers "We can't think of one! The Havens had ceremonies that lasted two or three days, that involved hundreds and thousands of people, especially for what was called The Day Of Glory, when The Lord God was supposed to have first spoken thruogh His Prophet, and The Empire began. The ceremonies around that so called Holy Day lasted fourteen days with reinactments of some of the major battles that occurred as The Lord God's power spread around the world, and other occasions. For untold ages these ceremonies unified the people. There was virtually nothing We did without some kind of ceremony...being born, growing up, getting married, dying, all involved ceremonies. Military parades and the giving of honors were an everyday thing. Some of these times are described in Our History, but only a small fraction of them are even mentioned.

And The Hashons were not to be outdone. They had some ceremonies that lasted for months! They had one where they reenacted The Great Journey that Their people made to find Their new Homeland that took several months. Young people would walk the route, praying and singing each night. On another occasion pilgrims would literally walk around Their homeland on the great road that their forbears had built, visiting each city of historical importance. Yes, The Old People believed in ceremonies.

And I can't even begin to tell you about The Peepians! They had some ceremonies that lasted a year!"
