"Yes sir," the senator answered. "I understand you perfectly, sir! I wish you would understand the danger. They want to destroy everything we believe in. They want to destroy our way of life. They want to install their system. Most of our freedoms would disappear."
"I disagree with you, senator!" David answered. "I am coming to believe that under Their system we would be freer than we have ever been before. The only difference would be men like you would have very little opportunity to get into power. Men like you would have no respect, whatsoever! Good night, senator!" David released his hand. The woman shivered and stopped breathing. "Wish we could help her!" David remarked.
"Some things are even beyond my power!" The Ancient One answered. "Let's get out of here! The stench in here sickens me!"
They returned to their companions' home. "I'll be waiting for the record of this," David remarked. "Don't leave out one tiny thing, not one thing! You tell it like it is!"
"Always do!" The Ancient One answered. "Though it will make hundreds of conspiracy theories, I always do!"
David laughed, and The Ancient One and Durga departed. They were done for the night. Others would continue the hunt. But for tonight they were done.

THE END

The Ancient One hovering over Esther and Durga.
He glowed brighter and brigher and drove the creatures of Darkness back.
