BURGLARY

Burglary under The Spiritist Statutes is the forcible entry of someone else's residence or property without consent and removing from that residence or property items of value. As the Spiritists hold property in a sacred state and do not believe that anyone has a right to take anyone else's property without their consent, the penalties for burglary are high...30 years in punishment. And as in all cases a repeat offense will mean a doubling of sentence. In the case where a burglar is found in someone's residence and that resident seizes them, if the burglar resists and is killed, the owner of the property cannot be held accountable, as the burglar has violated the sanctity of his residence, or, hers. The right of property and the right to defend property must not be questioned.

But if it is repeated and the person has been warned to stay off the property, it may be as much as ten years. And if trespass is committed for the purpose of committing a crime, it may be as much as twenty years. The right of a person's property must be respected at all times. If a neighbor tells someone to keep their children off his property that individual must keep his children off that person's property. If an individual tells members of the press to stay off his property they must stay off his property, or, hers. And they may not block a person's exit or return from their property. The right of property and the right of privacy must be respected even by the media. If it is not they may be prosecuted exactly the same as any other individuals committing trespass. being representatives of the press gives no one the right to violate someone else's property.
