Speaking of virtual trips, our favorite is to cruise around the power block in Los Angeles, start at the entrance to The Roosevelt Hotel and go around the block by the high school and then back up on the other side, go by Jimmy Kimmel's theater, the El Capitan, and come back to The Roosevelt again, one of the most powerful pieces of property psychicaly, on Earth! Our three visits to "Jimmy Kimmel, Live!" just got the area so energized it's never really cooled down, which is fortunate for everyone because it's kept the human race alive. Every once and a while we just buzz back there and think how much we'd like to live a couple of years in one of those apartments behind The Roosevelt. Of course now that would be impossible. We would only be able to stay in California a couple of months. But that you can visit your favorite places is absolutely phenomenal. Going down the old road in your home town and seeing how much it has changed makes you shiver sometimes! There's an old song "You can never go home, the drive-in theater is now a shopping mall. And where grandma's cows used to graze is a parking lot." How true it is! Gerald keeps thinking of how absolutely appalled one of his old friends would be to find out her beloved diner is now being used to sell x rated videos! She would haunt the new owners! So Gerald thinks he'll give them a break and not tell her. But there is nothing as inevitable as change, even in The Kingdoms Of God. People don't like it but it happens. Nothing stays the same forever. That is one of the few absolute truths.

When we talk about space travel and The Old Worlds, people often ask "What did The Home Worlds look like? Were they shaped anything like Earth?" Well, it is absolutely incredible, that mass wise all three planets were virtually identical. They were 1 G the same as Earth. But there the similarities ended. Haven had no land at all on the equator. It was called by the people The Great River, and The Endless Wind because there was nothing to stop the wind, it blew constantly. But the climate was very much like Earth. Except We tended to have a few more hurricanes. The people where they occurred were well aware of them and they didn't really cause that much of a problem. Just certain times of the year you had to really be on the lookout. Hades had no oceans, only great lakes that drained out into a vast desert completely around the equator that just sopped up all water coming into it. That the planet thrived amazed many, but its ecological system was in perfect balance and its people were smart enough to keep it this way. So life hung on there tenaciously. Sadly, there's not too much known about Peepi. Once it had had oceans and a moderate climate. But The Great Holocaust virtually destroyed it. That the people managed to survive was miraculous, and only through the wisdom of Lord Change!
