Many people have asked us why we have such a diverse format in our magazine...articles
on Wicca, Spiritualism, Spiritist and The Nazarene. Spiritists belive that
there is good in all religion. Unlike many others who shut the door to others
with slightly differing beliefs, we try to keep an open mind, and an open
forum. All religion is connected. Each new religion takes parts of older
religions and adds them together to make a new philosophy. The only thing
that we oppose, is those parties that believe in the shedding of blood and
those faiths that teach racial prejudice....hatred because you do not belong
to their society. These are the two things The Lords Of Light forbid us
to endure.
Neither will we accept a religion that ridicules another faith by doing their
ceremonies in reverse, and desecrating their symbols. Such is neither proper
nor good. Aside from this, we welcome all. Any that have something good
to say, any that have something else to teach, they are welcome between our
pages.
If a nation values anything more than freedom, it will lose its freedom;
and the irony of it is that if it is comfort or money that it values more,
it will lose that too.
There are two good things in life, freedom of thought and freedom of action.
Conscience is the guardian in the individual of the rules which the community
has evolved for its own preservation.

7. Spiritists believe that we live more than one lifetime. That before
our soul reaches The Level Of Ultimacy it may live hundreds of times.
Reincarnation, the cycle of birth, death, dwelling in The Spirit World, and
rebirth, is one of the basis of Spiritist belief. That the Ultimate Goal
of this process is for The Soul to reach Ultimacy, a state of total harmony
with the universe, in which a soul may dwell for some time, giving aide and
guidance to younger souls. Then, that soul would break up into a billion
tiny fragments which would re-enter the material world and begin the process
anew. Endless life, the cycle of joy.
It has been my karma to be around spiritual healers for a number of years.
They come from many different backgrounds and have different ideas and beliefs,
but, they have one thing in common; they get results.
As a student I tried many of their techniques and methods but found that
each individual develops the techniques that work best for them. I can only
describe what I do. I do not dictate and tell you my way is the only way
because of course it is not. All I attempt to do is to give a few descriptions
of what I have found to work, and any of you can use these methods as a base
to start with.
Remember to wash your hands before and after each healing. Also say a prayer
and use The White Light over you and the one being healed.
With the Healer and the Patient sitting face to face on chairs on stools
of the same height, the Healer holds the wrists of the Patient, knees touching.
This makes a positive-negative circuit of their bodies which allows for
the Healing Power to be most effective.
Normally the right side of the body is the positive and the left side negative.
In this position the polarities are reversed. (The exception being is if
either patient is left handed.)
If the Patient is relaxed, he or she absorbs the Spiritual Healing in flow
of power while the Healer is acting as a channel with his consciousness in
the silence.
The Healer is neither hopeful or expectant. The Healer is simply a Channel
for Spirit's use. In all techniques of Healing...it is ultimately Spirit
that heals.
A word of caution. Promise nothing to Patients. You are only the Channel,
even though you may be reasonably sure of success, only Spirit decides.
