Are you in complete harmony within and around youreself? Here is an example that really happened on more than one occassion. A lot of people are afraid of being stung by a bee. While working today, (Jan., 1987) I delivered a car to a car dealership. When I opened my door to get out of the tow truck, a small bee crawled across the floor where my feet had been. It crawled (not flew) out onto the ground. Naturally, because I had not seen the little bee, I was startled and jumped back. However, upon watching the bee crawl, it was obvious that it could not fly and was hurt. I went to the truck, got a piece of paper, and pushed the paper gently at the front of the bee. It grabbed ahold of the paper after about five minutes. I then carried the paper, with the bee on it, over to a tree and set the bee onto a branch. I was not thinking of what the bee might do to me, only that here was a living thing that needed help and I was there.
I gave this little bee his space and yet was able to help in some small way knowing that I would not see the bee again and even if I did I would most likely not recognize him from other bees. I needed no thanks. I did it because I was there. I did not want to see some uncaring person step on it.
How aware are you as you pass through this life? Are you too busy with yourself? No one is this aware 100% of the time, but as is with all understanding, we must learn and put it into practice. Realize what is around you and act accordingly. Proceed with love of creation. Is not our lives like this little bee? Do we want to be stepped on? Then be careful not to step on someone else. What you sow you most assuredly will reap and you never know from what direction it shall come. God bless.
