A NEW LIFE
By; Joseph Presley
It was in the soft darkness of the newborn moon;
That I saw the image of freshness being formed;
At what I saw, I could not think to believe;
That in this rabble of earths depletion;
The image took shape with grace and beauty;
And filled my senses with a trace of purity;
The shape moved towards me as if in a dance;
With movements so true, I stood as in a trance;
As the form moved towards me my mind was awhirl;
Then the form took shape in the body of a girl;
And as she came closer, ever closer to me;
It was not a girl that I thought to see;
But a woman of beauty, a woman of grace;
She took my hand, and we stood close together amidst this terrible place;
She whispered my name, and told me of what I did seek;
And told me that this was the time that was set for us to meet;
She whispered to me in the softness of an embrace;
To look no more, not another place;
For together we will begin our new life;
So to the earth, stars, and the gods in the sky;
We said our vows as husband and wife:,
Thus together we stood gazing into each others eyes;
For together we will begin a new life.

Damn, wrong tree!"
DECLARATION OF SPIRITIST RELIGION
What a Spiritist Believes
9. Spiritiststs believe that such intelligent life from other worlds has visited Earth in the past, and are still visiting Earth today.
* * *
But before these great races perished completely, some of them visited Earth and established colonies here. And that those colonies were later destroyed in a terrible conflict that is spoken of in many religious writings.
ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOD'S GREAT PLAN
By; White Eagle
As we grow on our pathway through this life, with its many trials and
tribulations, we should always arrive to understand why God has sent this
lesson into our path. We know it is for our growth. We know it is for our
upliftment on a journey on eternal progression's way. No matter how our material
eyes view a particular situation, we must be ever confident of what we see
with our spiritual eye. Life does not promise an easy path, but as partakers
of the lessons Jesus showed to us and the New Testament accountings of how
He overcame them, we then realize that a perfect rose has to grow, and to
grow needs thorns.
God's plan is perfect. God does not make mistakes, we make our own happiness
or unhappiness as we obey or disobey nature's physical and spiritual laws.
Universal Laws are exact and unbreakable. If you live according to God's
laws, then you most assuredly will reap the benefits, here and hereafter.
If you do not, then you will also reap those benefits, here and hereafter.
Just as the moon affects the tides of Earth from afar, so does each and every
person and living thing have some degree of an effect on the things around
it. We do affect those we touch with. You may never meet some of the people
that your existence affects. Others you will spend a lifetime with. Let go
and let God. You will arrive at your place. How soon or how long it takes;
how hard or how easy it is; how happy or unhappy the journey; these are through
your choices of how to handle the situation, how you apply yourself to the
task at hand. We pray you go straight ahead with courage, strength, and wisdom
in all that comes into your pathway. GOD BLESS.
OUR CHOICE FOR PRESIDENT
By; Rev. Speaker Gerald Polley
As you will not receive VOICES before November 2nd, we have been asked
to make some comments about the upcoming election on who we support for the
Presidency and, why. We lean very strongly towards Michael Dukakis over George
Bush. We feel Bush is too much of a follower and not, himself, capable of
leadership. And we much prefer Dukakis as a leader. Any man who could go
into a convention with so much discourse and hard feelings, and come out with
a good majority of his party supporting him, and hard feelings mended, shows
good leadership capability. When Vice President Bush, on many occassions
in the past eight years has shown his poor leadership ability, racist attitude
and chauvanist feelings, his recent attempts to bridge these gaps have been
poor, at best. And we much prefer the Democratic attitude over that of the
Republicans.
Too many Republicans feel that they have the right to push their religious
and social beliefs on others, and this cannnot continue. Eight more years
of Reagan type attacks on equal rights, affirmative action, and many other
social issues may plunge this country into another dark era like we suffered
through with McCarthy. To ward off such a possibility we feel Dukakis is
the only hope.
