13. If one was to teach of ways to save Mother Earth, what do you suggest?

A. I think I have already said much along these paths. Look to the wind, to the sun, and the water, those things that can be grown and burned cleanly. Throw away those things made of tar, and return to metal, glass, and wood. Eat not what has been filled full of poison, but only what comes from the good, clean Earth. Then much sickness will go from you. Your children's blood will not die. Their lungs will not rot, their bowels will not bleed. Much of what troubles you will be gone. The greatest of Medicine Chiefs has told me this is so.

14. Can an individual construct a medicine wheel himself, and can the medicine wheel be constructed in a house?

A. A medicine wheel was merely a sacred gathering place. It only marked ground that was considered sacred where one went to converse with The Great Spirits. A medicine wheel can be made anywhere, but only by one who has the power to find the sacred places, or to draw The Great Ones, and make places sacred.

15. What herbs would you recommend for a diabetic and for stomach problems?

A. I am not a Medicine Chief. You would have to ask one knowledgable in these things for a wise answer.

16. How does an individual contact an Indian Spirit Guide to teach him or her the Old Ways so that he/she can work on The Right Path?

A. When one is ready, when one believes, when one is ready to accept, then The Guide will come. As long as one hears but does not listen, looks but does not see, all wisdom can be given them, they can stand in the Presence of great chieftains but not learn anything from them. One does not say 'I am rady, come!' they say 'When I am ready, come.' This is the way with Truth. A lie will say 'You are ready. I will give you what you want now, if you believe in me.' But truth will tell you when it is not the time, and give you what you are ready to understand. For that is the Way Of Truth.

17. Are the stories really true about how hostilities between your people and the white man began?

A. More or less it is true. But I believe that the whole incident that first started between the white men and The People was all a contrivance of the white men, all planned so they would have an excuse to make trouble with The People.

18. Why did the soldiers kill you?

A. Because that's what they were ordered to do. The authorities felt I was a symbol around which my people might rally if abused, so they felt it best to eliminate me. So it was contrived that I would attempt to escape and be killed. Such is the white man's trechery.

19. What do you do now in The Spirit World?

A. I am NOT in The Spirit World. I walk again among The People. I am yet young, young and brash, but I am learning. For there are wise teachers near me. I leave that form now, for a time while it sleeps, and come to speak through this one in the ways of your magic.

20. Do you have any comments to our readers?

A. Only this; the numbers of The People must increase. Every man that is able must take three women...an Indian woman, a white woman, and a tanned skinned woman. Each woman is to be treated with honor and respect, and each child is to be valued like every other child. These half-children should be encouraged to marry one who is fully of The People's blood, and their children, also, so that their blood becomes one with The People, and The People's numbers grow with each generation. Also I would say this...do not stay on the reservation and rot. If there is no work to be had near at hand, then go where the work is. Make your fortune and return to the reservation. If you can find no other work, join the white man's army. Let them educate you. Let them enrich you. Use them in every way you can that is honorable. Become police officers, doctors, nurses, politicians, but do not be like the white man. Serve with honor and pride. In all ways be honest. Show no favor to your own People but treat all equally. In this way you will bring honor to The People.
You cannot defeat the white men with bullets, but you can defeat him in his own way. Acquire money. Buy back what he has stolen. Gain control of your own lands by means of his greed, and then slowly absorb him into your own blood. Victory WILL be yours if you will but stand and act as one People.
Never trust the white man, never believe his word, for there is no truth in him. Believe him only when what he promises is in your hand. That is the only way he can be trusted. Do not give up he battle, my People. Fight on, fight on with the weapons I have given you. Rise high above the white man. Be better than him. Learn his magic then use it in the Indian way against him, and the battle shall be yours.
