The director put his hands up on his head and rubbed his hair.  "We've got no choice," he finally muttered, "it's the only thing we could possibly get ready.  Everybody else seems to have vanished off the face of the earth!  Tell Robert to get on the phone, to call them.  Get a film crew together!  This sickness bit may be a great human interest angle."
The General was right.  Things were changing.  What he had done would change an awful lot of things...an awful, awful lot of things!
