on the couch, buried his face in the pillow, and
screamed. He screamed until he couldn't scream any more, then went to
sleep.
26 That is how his mother found him. She sat beside him and let him
wake of his own accord. When he did wake, Morn told her all he had
seen. His mother locked the door, loosened her clothes, and motioned
her son to sit on the floor with her. "These things," she explained,
"we cannot
understand with our own minds. We must call upon greater Powers to
explain to us what these things mean."
27 So, facing each other, with their hands spread and their palms up,
they began to pray. "I surround myself with The White Light of Spirit,
and nothing but good can enter my Holy Light." They repeated this three
times.
28 "Oh Lords of Light," continued Morn's mother, "Beacons of Truth in
the Darkness of lies, tell us the meanings of these things, we pray.
Give us the wisdom that we might know the how and the why of these
things my son has seen."
29 The light in the room began to change and slowly a mist began to
appear. That mist broke into two shapeless forms, that slowly took on
the features and shapes of a Hashon and a Haven. Finally a man of each
race floated a few inches off the floor above Morn and his mother.
30 "You asked," said The Haven, "the meaning of those things that your
son has seen. Of this I will tell you. Our world was once
peaceful. There were many faiths, and they got along, one with the
other. Then, that thing Morn saw in The Holy of Holies fell from the
sky and became the evil
Soul of our people. IT made this society. IT poisoned our peoples'
minds, replaced love and kindness with hate and greed.
31 It cannot survive here on its own. It can't live on the energy of
this world. The Holy of Holies is a transformer, that converts the
energy of The Lord Gods that sit in it into a form this creature can
feed on.
