but these two would always be the most precious
to them.
31 Now, shortly after Morn had brought the children home, he sat in his
office one evening after his wife and children had gone to bed. He
surrounded himself with The Lords' protecting Light and called his
Spirit Helper.
32 Running Fox appeared, and Morn motioned him to a chair. "Tell me,"
Morn asked, "why there have been so many rebellions and uprisings here
in the eastern sector? Why is it the people here are more against The

35 It was hard even for the just and good to survive for a long time,
in the worlds where all life had been destroyed."
36 "Why?" asked Morn. "Doesn't The Spirit World continue to exist even

37 "The material and the Spiritual are intertwined," explained Running
Fox. "The Spirit World exists and grows on the surplus energy produced
by all living things. All living things are dependent on The Spiritual
Sparks that come from The Spirit World to give them life. Take away
either half of the circle, and the other cannot long endure. Do you
understand?"
38 "Yes," Morn replied, "but how did the good manage to survive in The
Spirit World without living things
