and, his protector. It is only fitting that he
should be the first to express his loyalty.
26 For it is true. Morning Star, blood of my blood, flesh of my flesh,
has entered The Holy Of Holies and is one with The Holy Spirit, and
upon my
death, shall be The Lord God. There is no greater honor he can be
given, no greater trust he can hold.
27 Therefore, this day I announce that I am sending him to Hades,
where, until my death, he will govern the Northern part of The Empire,
that part which was once called The Hashon Republic, and whatever other
dominions I shall assign him. To these territories he shall already be
Lord, and his word shall be absolute. Now, bow you all down, and
recognize my heir!"
28 All present bowed down proclaiming Morn the heir to The Haven
throne. The Lord God returned to his throne. "Come, my son," he said,
"stand at my right hand and view the rest of the ceremonies, General,
take your place. Let
the ceremonies continue!"
29 Gray Mountain and the other Officers marched their men on the field,
presented their medals, and received their own. Then, The Lord God
rose. "What all of you have done," he praised, "will be a part of
history, remembered long after this day. Let your crews be taken from
the field. Banquets have been arranged in their honor and each shall
receive a personal gift from me."
30 North turned, and saluted. "Lord of all The Havens," he requested,
"permission to return to my men and lead them from the field."
31 Morn turned also, saluted, and repeated North's request.
32 "So be it, gentlemen! " The Lord God agreed. "Take the place that is
rightfully yours. General North, you will return to The Palace with me,
after you dismiss your men. Your family is already there."
