92 "Interesting! " Morn remarked.
93 "Far more than interesting!" said The Priest, laying his Book on the
table next to the stack of papers he was carrying. "I believe, my
brothers," the Priest continued, "we have learned all that there is for
us to learn. Let us depart now that we may conference with our brothers
and sisters, and see that that we desire is fulfilled."
94 The Committee rose, bowed politely to Morn, and departed. When the
door shut behind them, Morn's eyes fell on the table where the Priest
had laid his Book. The stack of papers was gone, but the Book still
laid there. Stretching out his hand Morn drew the Book to him. He
noticed that it had a built-in bookmark and he opened the Book to that
passage.
95 Morn had quickly mastered Peepian script and could read it. "'Last
night,”the passage began, "'I dreamed a Glorious Dream, and saw that
One who shall come after me. And he put my name in the stars, and the
little effort of my life he made to go on forever. The one that was at
his left hand, the one who is called The Thunder, and The Lightning,
The Terrible Destroyer, he sent to you at your bidding. This one has
such Power as was never seen before. You rose him up to a Great Place,
and he became the King of three people. You called him wonderful,
glorious, the Warrior Priest, The Father Of Kings, The Lord Of Lords.
Let this be remembered long after my day,
that when The Shining One comes, The Holder Of All Truth that shall
make The Mysteries clear to you, that you may do what you must do, so
that all I have said will come to pass, and The Glory that is Peepi
will never die. Though these worlds that are our home may pass away,
